We stayed have because there was no other rooms avaible. Found the place very old and ruin down but the amount of time spent in the room was worth the cheap price. The rudest owner on the planet must be Einar, who 'ru(i)ns' a quite cheap guesthouse. If you are travelling by car, be sure that there's NO parking lot for you, which is obviously the opposite to what you are promised on their website. This was the cheapest place we could find at the time, as the hotels were all outrageously expensive. The breakfast was questionable but the staff were nice and did their best to help us with things to do in the city. We loved Iceland, but would not likely come back to this place. More

Staying in this guesthouse was the only bad experience on our trip around Iceland, for several reasons: 1 - There is no reception at this guesthouse.
