This was the cheapest place we could find at the time, as the hotels were all outrageously expensive. The breakfast was questionable but the staff were nice and did their best to help us with things to do in the city. We loved Iceland, but would not likely come back to this place. more

Staying in this guesthouse was the only bad experience on our trip around Iceland, for several reasons: 1 - There is no reception at this guesthouse. Great staff (very nice young couple running that Guesthouse!) and very nice private rooms. If you travel with friends I do recommend to book a private room in Pavi Guesthouse. I booked a bed thru hostelworld.com and I stayed a few nights in dormitory room which was ok. Enjoyed great breakfast and touristic atmosphere. Go for it! more
