Stayed at Apartment K for 3 nights in a deluxe studio apartment for my birthday. The staff are friendly and the location in amazing just around the corner from all the best bars, restaurants and shops but was really quiet at night. The apartment was cool, clean and cosy. The the huge bed and tv where a real plus. We... More

The rooms are quite modern, and in a brilliant location. Clean, well appointed with a kitchen, which is helpful considering the very high restaurant prices in Reykjavik. The big issue I had was checking in, as there are three separate locations with rooms in this hotel, but you can only check in at one of these locations (which did not... More

Istayed here for 3 nights with a friend. It's not a hotel so no luxury entrance or anything but the location is great, the room was clean and cozy, it was just what we needed. Highly reccomend.

Definitely will not be staying here again. Our room was located in a different building from the main building and has a completely different aesthetic, the entrance and main corridor is extremely old and shabby which is a huge contrast to what we saw at the main building and this was extremely disappointing. Also there are no lifts, and given a... More

With grateful thanks to the previous posters who pointed out the difficulty in finding the office, we researched it and found it immediately. Without delay we were taken to an apartment in Lindargata which was most satisfactory. Very warm (thanks to cheap, geothermally generated power), the main bedroom was spacious as was the bathroom. Well stocked kitchen with tea/coffee/sugar etc.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in August to run the Reykjavik marathon. It was one of our best accommodations on our trip in Iceland. It was not only a great location for the marathon but it was a perfect location for the whole city - just a few steps off of Lagavegur, but also at the... More

Stayed here our first night in Reykjavik. My only issue with the hotel/apt is the poor signage outside. It took us several trips up and down the street to locate it. No number on the door. No clear sign. Just a small booking.com sticker on the glass door gave me a hint I should ring the bell. The room was... More

In the center of the town (lindargata 60 for us : "luxury" studio) at a good price (less expensive than an hotel). A great location with very helpful staff. We needed some new frying pans and we got them in the afternoon ! Nothing is luxury but bathroom and kitchen are functional. All excursions companies know the adress for pick... More

We arrived after midnight, and stayed there 3 nights. The apartment was fantastic, in the middle of the center, shopping streets, restaurants, bars, some of the main sights, supermarket and within walking distance from everything. The studio had everything - fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, flat screen, ipod player, modernly furnished, etc. The price is really a good deal in... More

I booked Apartment K after reviewing the photos of the various apartments around the city and reading some favourable reviews. Admittedly, I did see some slightly negative reviews but decided to give Apartment K a shot anyway. My friend and I love design and boutique hotels, so we wanted to see how the Icelanders do it. The verdict? Apartment K... More
