You could not ask for a more central location and a nicer, warmer place to lay ones head but the bathroom floods and it makes going to the loo a misery. I also couldn't work the stove. If you are staying Sunday to Thursday you will love it but Friday and Saturday is very loud. We were fine as we... More

This place is beautifully designed! The apartment is located centrally and there are markets, cafes, bars and restaurants all around. The first thing you will love in this apartment is the bathroom and then you will just won't want to leave the bed because it is the most comfortable atomic bed ever! The place is not that cheap but compared... More

Really comfortable place to stay. The room we stayed were big enough to spend some time after long walks in a cold weather. Kitchen inside become really useful also the washing machine can save lifes if you are on a trip more than 2 weeks like us. Its good to feel like in a home rather than a small hotel... More

We opt for deluxe apartment and it's about 7 minutes walk from the main reception. It can be a little loud at night but it didn't bother us that much mainly because we were too tired from the day trip! There are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Two friends and I stayed at the apartment k on hverfisgata for 3 nights. It's just a few mins walk from the main reception for apartment k. The apartment was beautifully designed, had everything we could need and was an ideal location for us (2 mins to Main Street with restaurants and bars). The staff were great on the couple... More

A central location will always have a degree of noise, but you must remember in Iceland that the locals do party very late. My apartment was beside a bar, which seemed calm during the day. On Friday and Saturday the music continued to 04.45! Then noisy farewells. When the person from registration advised me not to park near the flat... More

Centrally located - very convenient access to pubs, restaurants, harbour front and city centre. Although can get a tad noisy at night Spacious, clean rooms and hall. Interesting bathroom concept but was a bit of a challenge to manage sliding glass door after a hot shower or with wet hands. Modern furniture and interior Helpful receptionist with good humour

We paid $55 a night and didn't have very high expectations. It is located right in the shopping and bar area downtown, but in the quieter part. It can get pretty loud at night. After reading some reviews I knew the main office did not have a number on the building, so I made sure to do some research to... More

Rented it based on the idea that there were three of us. Got there and the place just small. I'd barely call it an efficiency apartment. Glass door on the bathroom, bed butted up against 3 or the four calls in the "bedroom". Kitchen has an oven and cook top, but no microwave which is very odd. If you are... More

What you see is not what you get. The pictures are and were a lie. Nothing close to being fancy! Location was quite good. Guess that was the only positive side. But I was highly disappointed! Also had some security challenges! The other entry door which I never used was faulty and unlocked unknown to me. Only noticed when I... More

We at ApartmentK take these matters very seriously and feel this story does not reflect your actual stay. We initially received a phone call around noon the day after you claimed the door could not be locked. We responded immediately and discovered the apartment in a bad state after a party the previous night. The door was functioning perfectly, so... More
