From the outside a bit utilitarian, inside it's boutique all the way. Very comfortable, extremely adequate heating, soundproofing, nice bathroom all nice touches and couldn't really be better located. It is only at the most ten minutes walk to the harbour if that, and most of the really nice restaurants are literally a stone's throw away. The staff were all... More

We stayed here in January for a mini break. It was really lovely. The boutique hotel was beautiful from the waterfall when you enter the hotel on the wall to the great rooms. They are very helpful on reception. The location was perfect, from the outside you don't realise its a hotel until you get in the front door! The... More

This is a relatively small hotel by normal city standards but I suspect that its pretty usual for Reyjkjavik, its beautifully decorated and the staff are first class, superb location in the city centre but as others have said, some of the rooms do overlook a busy road with a bar on it that can be pretty noisy til the... We stayed in this hotel for two nights after a nine day trek so any hotel would have felt like luxury but this hotel really went above our expectations. The room was really well decorated and designed and the staff very friendly and helpful. We ordered room service the first night and the food was delicious. Breakfast also did not... More

This is a very nice and "modern chic" hotel with a perfect location in the city centre. It's a designed boutique hotel with good facility's. It has a nice bar and a cozy relax area. A minus is that you have to pay extra for using the relax area - even if you are a guest at the hotel. Friendly... More

My husband and I stayed here after a Silver Sea cruise around Iceland. It was a beautiful home base for us to explore southern Iceland and the city. It was in the middle of everything, yet a few yards off the main road so not as loud as I had feared it could be. Many restaurants were nearby, but the... More

Appears newly renovated. Everything is first class. Rooms, at least ours, was very small, however the room was well laid out. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a frosted window into the bedroom, so when you turn the bathroom light on, it lights up the bedroom. If you a man, are over 6 feet and 240 you will... More

This is one of those slightly austere "Swedish-modern" style hotels with random bits of Nordic leather furniture, odd art and concrete walls. Theres also quite a lot of glass, so the noise of Reykjavik on a Saturday night still gets in, so ask for an inward facing room if you don't plan on being out till 3 am. desk staff... More

My family was a party of 6 and I booked 3 rooms for 4 nights. Two of the three rooms were fine. My husband and I were assigned room 413. When we got to the room it was like entering a sauna. I immediately went to the front desk and apprised the woman at the front desk that there was... More
