The little things have been considered here... French toiletries in the bathroom, soft towels, great breakfast, cool lobby, windows that open (yes, that is standard in Iceland, but still...). The location is great, the front desk staff is helpful. Opt for the deluxe room, the $ is worth it - lots of space, a giant white leather L couch to... More

CenterHotel Thingholt was a great hotel in many ways. Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, a solid breakfast and a very cozy, friendly bar. Everyone spoke english and were again very helpful, wanting to ensure your stay was the best... The room was very basic, TV was a challenge, howeverthe shower was nice and powerful. We walked everywhere, and... More

We visited this hotel from Dallas Texas and couldn't have chose a better place to stay. The staff and bartenders we awesome and very friendly. After traveling around the city we realized we chose the best hotel in the city because it was close to everything. Small rooms but very cozy and modern. Great happy hour, location, design, breakfast. Will... More

And the lounge is the perfect place for rest from your excursions. Happy hour on draft beer every day. Clean and spacy rooms. Friendly staff. Only breakfast is worth some more varieties. If you need information on restaurants or spas, don't hesitate to ask the staff. BTW, tap water is delicious in Reykjavik, no need to buy bottled water...

We stayed here for 4 nights Easter this year. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean and the standard room of good quality. The only bad thing about this hotel was the noise from the nightclub across the road. You need to ask for a quiet room when booking. Other than that, it is absolutely perfect... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel April 28- May 2. We had a standard double room. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but what a surprise when you walk inside. It is so nice. The room was a little small, but very nice and bright. The bathroom with the frosted wall is a little strange at... More

We really liked this hotel; the room was very nice, comfortable bed and a nice little courtyard area out the back with table and chairs (we were on the ground floor). The staff were very friendly and helpful, plus the hotel has a convenient happy hour between 5-7 so after you return from most day tours from the city you... More

When you first walk into this hotel you are pleasantly surprised. From the street, it is a warehouse style door you enter and are greeted with wall water features, zen style decor, and wonderfully eclectic furniture from big sofas to devan style beds! The staff are all very helpful, the hotel is well kept and the breakfasts had a good... More

I stayed here for one night. Key points: -Hotel was centrally located (cafes, restaurant, iceland excursion center, tourist info center, shops all within walking distance) -Friendly hotel staff (I arrived at the hotel and enquired about the Northern Lights tour, the receptionist very kindly helped me book a place on the tour) -The lobby was nicely furnished, there was a... I booked this Hotel as a surprised holiday for my partners 30th birthday and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. With the Hotels quirky interior from its bar furniture and lobby wall art to the leather style flooring in our room, this Hotel certainly stands out from the rest. The breakfast buffet was great, more than what we... More
