Absolutely loved this hotel! Breakfast was lovely, great location, helpful staff, nice clean rooms that were made up everyday, bathroom small but fine for us. It was great to have access to a shared kitchen with a fridge where we could keep lunch for the next day. Huge radiator which came in handy when we needed to dry all of... More

I stayed at Sunna Guesthouse with my friend in a twin room and we were extremely happy with our stay. The rooms are reasonably small, but comfortable with adequate shelving and also a small sink in the room for getting water and brushing your teeth. Ours had a beautiful view over the church! We booked a room with a shared... More

We stayed in a studio apartment which was perfect for 3 adults and 1 child. Had all the major appliances (which we didn’t use) but would be perfect for those who would be staying more than one night. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to check into our room early which was very helpful. Great location! Near many... More

Very clean rooms in the heart of Reykjavik. My boyfriend and I stayed in a double room with shared bathroom and it was our first time in a room with a shared bathroom, but it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. It was cleaned every day and usually open. The room itself had a sink for brushing... More

The guesthouse is in a perfect location near the Hallgrimkirkja church and close to the main commercial center. The rooms have basic furnishings and are very clean. Our bathroom was rather narrow but had all that we needed. There was a good variety at breakfast. Our room faced the street on a lower floor, but there was no street noise.... More

We chose Sunna through hotels.com because it was low price, located in the city center, and well-rated. All buses that transported us to and from Sunna were able to fit in front of the guesthouse and drop us off at the front door. The room with 2 twin beds was clean with enough room for 2 people to move around,... More

Stayed there at both ends of a circle tour of Iceland (late May - mid-June). Wound up with full apartment suite type set-ups both times. Large rooms, separate kitchen, living and bedroom areas. Very clean, rather old and dated but comfortable. Because of its central location there is a fair bit of street noise but if you can live with... More

I stayed here during Iceland Airwaves 2014 on my first trip to Iceland. I considered a hostel but by the time I booked, most of the ones I was keen on were booked up. I also don't think I am still built to share a room with 16 others! The guesthouse had sharing options but I went for a double... More

a great place to stay if like us you didn't want to pay the high end prices of Iceland. The rooms are basic but has everything you need. only a 10 min walk to the harbour front, breakfast basic but better than nothing. My only negative comment is it was sometimes loud with the banging doors but was never at... More

Didn't read this before so I'd like to comment that the main Fly Bus terminal is only a 10 minute walk away so that's handy and saves some money. Downtown is a bit further but not a bad walk. Great breakfast for this type of accommodation and speedy wireless. Good place. Recommend.
