Stayed with a friend in January of 2010. Hotel was very clean. Wood floors. Room was small but it was fine for us, we were hardly in it. The location is probably the best part of the hotel. Visitors center next door. Groceries and restaurants all within walking distance.

Spent a week here, had a fantastic time. The beds are a little small, the shower is ridiculously small, and it's impossible to not drench the floor when you're done with showering. You don't get the room you have booked. There are very small rooms with slope ceilings, you can't stay upright in the middle of the room. Bathroom - out of any standards, the only chance to shave in front of the mirror is if you stay on your knees. I'll never visit it again

Great hotel for the Iceland tourist. Reception staff could not have been more helpful. Especially Gudrun! Rooms clean and well equipped. Great choice at breakfast. Central location close to shops,bars etc. Couldn't fault it!
