The hotel is a student residence turned into a hotel for the summer, which is common enough in Iceland. That being said, the facilities were good: private bathroom & kitchenette in the room. Fosshotel Sudurgata is more similar to a hall of residence than a real hotel. The rooms are clean and equipped with a toilet and a kitchenette. It is a basic accomodation with nordic charme (which I personally loved), but it has the fault to be located far from the city centre; that's why I would recommend it only if you... more
