My wife and i spent our first trip to Iceland at the 1919 in Reykjavik. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Our room was a tad small, but we didn't spend too much time in the room itself. Nice bed, decent bath and very clean. Free WiFi too! Hotel is not far from the Harpa concert hall and only a few... More

We stayed at the 1919 for 2 nights. The location was ideal for seeing the sights and hitting the main drag of shopping and bars. Also right next to the famous hot dog stand that Bill Clinton stopped at years ago (not sure what all the fuss is over the hot dogs, but there was a constant line all day... More

Location, location, location! Just by the waterfront, opposite Harpa. Walking distance to all main atractions of the city. Clean, pleasant deco, wooden floors in functional rooms, nice and frindly staff. Beautiful dark green marble on the floors of the corridors and stairs.

Lovely hotel good friendly front office staff. Clean nice modern rooms, but best of all, location could not be better. They also claim that if you need late check out they try to accommodate you. I arrived very early and was able to check in and go to my room. A real plus

Great breakfast, comoftable bed, room a bit small, very helpful staff and great location. The WIFI worked intermittently. We were in the new part ofthe hotel - the rooms might be bigger and better in the old part.

Stayed here for my partners 40th birthday, and to go to the Harpa for a music festival. Room was a little smaller than we expected, howevrr it was very clean, nicely decorated and the beds were very very comfy! Great location and good view over the harbour. Staff were very helpful and booked trips for us, and gave great advice.

This hotel, located at the very epicenter of Reykjavik's sites, had easy access to everything, including a huge parking lot across the street. The museums, shops, and restaurants nearby made staying at the Radisson Blu 1990 an absolute joy. Also, their breakfast buffet was comprehensive and yummy, from both a typically American palate and one of a more Nordic leaning.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in February of this year. The holiday was fantastic but made even better by this hotel. From our arrival to our departure, staff were attentive, helpful, friendly. The rooms are lovely and cleaned daily, we enjoyed breakfast every morning. I could not recommend this hotel enough!

The hotel is very accessible to restaurants, bars and shops in Reykjavik. The hotel also can organize Northern Lights trips from the front desk. The rooms were a little small and public parking is located across the street which you will need to pay for daily except weekends. We were are the second level so we can hear party-goers having...
