We stayed only for one night in August. The room was on the third or fourth floor (not sure) and faced the back side of the building. The room was relatively large, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The quality is just what we expected from such a hotel. The staff was friendly and we were able... More

My wife and I checked in after midnight following a long flight. Upon check-in, we received the smallest and worst room we'd ever stayed in -- both in size and height -- over years of staying in hotels. Imagine a small attic space with 2-6 foot ceilings. I couldn't even stand up to walk to the bed! To add to... More

I had a very pleasant 3-nights stay with a nice room , good brekfast and a friendly and helpful staff. I would like to come back another time. The hotel is very well situated near the harbour and the Harpa Conference center. You are really down town

We spent one night here arriving from a red eye flight. The staff were able to bump up our check in time for one of our rooms. Both rooms were on the 5th floor and do not have windows, which I originally found disappointing. They did however have sky lights with very good back out blinds.....in the end the end,... More

Location: I chose this property in light of the location just next to the Airport Express bus stop and in close proximity to restaurants, old Harbor, HARPA, art gallery and city hall. we stayed for Fri and Sat. two nights before heading on a 8-day tour. At night from 230am - 5am rowdy people on the streets were jeering, yelling... More

Conveniently located downtown near the water and near the areas top bars including the Laundromat Cafe. Staff is very friendly, but don't expect curbside luggage pickup. We were upgraded to a suite on the 5th floor with was huge and dark, which is critical in the summer. The bathroom included a jacuzzi tub. Free wifi. Parking is not at the... More

We stayed here for three nights. It's a pretty hotel, and it was adequate, but not great. What we liked: -- good blackout curtains -- good central location -- there is cheap public parking across the street (do not pay the exorbitant amount that the hotel charges for one of its three spaces) -- free wifi What we didn't like:... This hotel exceeded our expectations. Centrally located within five minutes of most of the nice high end restaurants and walking areas. The rooms were spacious with nice modern functional furniture. The bed was very comfortable with cozy sheets and soft pillows. The black out curtains made sleeping easy even during Iceland's 24 hours sunlight. The view was not great but... More

Enjoyed our stay . The staff is great and very helpful. Our room included a wonderful breakfast each morning. The hotel has very nice amenities for its guests. A coffee machine in the lobby, as well as fresh fruit and bottles of water. Our room was fine, though noisy at night and lacked drawer space. Wi-Fi is included, which is... More
