A great location in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. I had a single room that was a lot nicer than something comparable in Oslo. While the rooms are nice, they are lacking a plug near the bed for your phone. The only alarm clock in the room was by the TV, but it was unplugged and there really wasn't anywhere... More

We stayed last night and I must echo the comments of another reviewer - the rooms are small but spotlessly clean and the temperature is far too high and not controllable. I woke up several times with a mouth that felt like the bottom of a budgie's cage! The "double" bed was two singles pushed together with 2 single duvets... More

The downsides:Fairly small rooms with temperature too high and not controllable. Poor TV reception and WIFI very patchy in the hotel, best place was the lobby for reception. Upsides: Very conveniently located, good beds and very clean with excellent buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful especially Agnar.

Very upset that after prepaying the total cost upfront - the day I was leaving the US to stay at the hotel I was sent an email that stated that there was a maintenance issue and that they moved me to another hotel. The hotel they sent me to was not at all a 4 star hotel and the only... More

After a very easy transfer by coach from the airport, we were dropped off outside the hotel and immediately checked in with no fuss. This hotel is in a good location if you want to explore Reykjavik. With the city not being that big, you are within walking distance of most city attractions such as the harbour/ opera building, harbour,... More

You really couldn't ask for a better location in Reykjavik, Its just South of the Old Harbor by a couple of blocks and the furthest attraction you would walk to (the Hallgrímskirkja Church) takes about 20 min to walk. Anyways, parking wasn't that difficult, as there is a lot just to the south of the hotel. I will agree with... More

Great location in Reykjavik - convenient walking to all local attractions and harbor. Nice, small restaurant connected - breakfast buffet - converts for nice dinner setting - limited selection, but great food. Small hotel - staff are very helpful in arranging excursions. Budget friendly

The location of this hotel is great. Close to everything. Parking is difficult. Rooms are tight. Bed is average in comfort. No ability to control air, and room was generally hot. Only provided one pillow for each person. TV is really small. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Internet was hit or miss which was annoying. They should easily be... More

Perfect location and friendly staff, but price was too high (as often in Iceland) for a small single room. Also WiFi does not work in all the rooms, which is rare in today's Europe. WiFi works well in lobby, but there is not enough space (only one table with coaches). Lobby cafe seems to be the best place for getting... More

Nice hotel with clean modern rooms. Well located in city centre close to old harbour and main attractions. Room had usual extras but was small. But certainly room for improvement Reception staff always on computers never said hello Maître D in restaurant unhelpful Tv reception terrible Breakfast buffet limited and never changed. No warning of concert in square outside the... More
