This hotel was central, superb location and was very clean! I emailed before hand to request a room at the back of the building due to noise and the room was spacious, clean and lovely. The hotel is generally well kept and is worth the value. I would however say I am slightly disappointed with the breakfast, this was a... More

Stayed here from the 7th to the 10th March. we were in the annexe in a 2 bedroom apartment that was like a penthouse with a stunning bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining room. Spotlessly clean. Centrally located to the shops. Continental breakfast which was ok for the price. Reception staff were lovely and helpful.

Spent 3 nights in early march . Check in was quick and simple . We booked a double room and had two single beds pushed side by side but it wasn't the end of the world . Beds were comfortable and room cleaned each day. Bathroom was nice with the usual extras shampoo etc. plenty of hot water. As said... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights between 8th and 12th March 2015. I had done plenty of research before choosing Hotel Fron and we definitely made the right choice. The hotel is located on Reykjavik's main street, Laugavegur, and so is surrounded by plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and gift shops. There is a supermarket 'Bonus' which... More

We did a fair bit of home work to find a centrally located hotel, and this was ideal. Some hotels we passed were someway away from the centre and isolated. The room - a studio and well heated - was large, with twin beds which were very comfortable, a seating area, kitchenette, and very clean shower area. Service was very... More

The location of this hotel could not be better. The apartment we stayed in was in the building which was having building work done in it. We were out during the day so the noise did not disturb us. The apartment was great. Spacious, comfy beds, warm, lovely bathrooms, plenty of storage space. Breakfast was the only let down of... More

We stayed for four nights 9th March- 13th march! The hotel is perfect location you have bars and restaurant literally walking distance! It was perfect! Our hotel room was in the annex part and we heard reviews of being noisey and we didn't hear anything! We had a room with a kitchenette! The bed was comfy and the room was... More

My friend and I have recently returned from our stay at the Hotel Fron. We were upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment at the back of the hotel, so it was really quiet. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, plenty of cheeses, meats, cereals and fruits - we weren't rushed at all. The staff were... More
