The Hotel Fron is a small hotel situated on one of the main streets and dis pit is central position it wasn't noisy . Our rooms overlooked the main street. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Rooms vary quite a bit my room was lovely but the one my friend had was a bit small.all rooms seemed to have a... More

I spent two nights at this hotel in November of 2014. The location is fabulous - right in the heart of Reykjavik. While I have read some reviews complaining of weekend noise in Reykjavik, we had a room on the back side of this hotel, and noise was not ever an issue. The room rates were very reasonable. Our room... More

We stayed at Hotel Fron for 4 nights in a deluxe studio (upgraded by Fleetway due to problems on a recent holiday). Arriving at 11.00 am after an early flight, the reception staff were very pleasant and efficient allowing us to store our case while we explored the town. They also confirmed our included excursions to ensure we had no... More

Room ok, staff pleasant and helpful. Stayed in double room breakfast only which was fine. What was really needed was tea/coffee facilities in room. First hotel I have ever stayed in without this service. Didn't help the price of tea and coffee was £5 per cup! Smell of water eg sulphur wasn't very pleasant either. Amazed to see waitress in... Don't go by appearances as from the uninspiring road frontage hides a very friendly efficient clean hotel situated right in the middle of this lovely city. It is literally 10 minutes from everything there is to see in Reyjavik or from the bus station where everything departs for excursions. We wanted for nothing and came away feeling very relaxed, as... Very pleased with this hotel, it was in the best location, so central and handy for everything. Room was a nice size and very clean and the hotel staff were all very helpful. Everyone speaks English too which is great. Breakfast is a cold continental buffet which is held in the restaurant next door - there is a connecting door... More

We found this hotel on the easy jet flight and hotel package although we didn't book with them. The hotel is very nice and when we booked through Thomas Cook we decided to go for the studio room, which cost £20 more than a standard room, for the week. The room was lovely and spacious with a fridge, two ringed... More

We booked Hotel Fron through Iceland Air on the layover program. The hotel could not have a better location! Walking distance from everything local we wanted to see. Our room was small (slightly bigger than a cruise ship stateroom), but for the price it seemed reasonable. The rooms you see reviews on for being large I believe are suites or... More

Our hotel was booked through a company we used for excursions etc. - Nordic Visitor. However, after reading some of the reviews, I was quite concerned about reviews of this hotel. They were all wrong!! We stayed as a family of 3 at Hotel Fron for 5 nights, which was on the main street in Reykjavik. Excellent location and close... More
