My husband and I stayed for four nights at Villa. There are so many good things to say about this little guest house: First, location is fantastic, second, it's extremely clean and third it's affordable. We appreciated the free wifi and when I asked for a hair dryer, they were very accommodating. A few things you might find helpful- there... More

Stayed just the 1 night during a trans-Atlantic stopover. Simple and clean B&B located in a charming old building. Great location near the church and shopping/restaurants/bars within 5 min walking. Compared to other hotels/B&Bs in Reykjavik, the price represented good value.

All most satisfactory. Room clean, simple, functional. Only the cleaner was available when we arrived (too early for check-in) but she was extremely helpful and arranged to contact us when room was ready. Manager also was excellent when we returned. Location is excellent for getting around Reykjavik. Price was also good in comparison for what else we had looked out.... More

We stayed two and half days. The Flybus dropped us off at the the Hallgrímskirkja Church at the top of the street which was a one minute walk. The street is listed as the most picturesque street in Reykjavik and it has lot of these old style buildings so we nearly found ourselves going into the wrong building. Check in... More

Villa hotel has two buildings, both in the good location, one is beside of the big church, another is near BSI. This time, we stayed at Villa for 5 days in the building near BSI. It was very convenient for us to go to BSI to take the touring bus. We aslo enjoyed the good tea provided by the hotel.... More

Central location, quiet, nice clean room with private bathroom. A kettle with complementary tea in the room. Staff was not very pleasant which ruined the atmosphere a bit. Kitchen is unavailable to guests for some reason. Parking is available on the street - not free.

My husband & I found the Villa easy enough after we were given directions by Raphael via email. We were dropped off at midnight by the Flybus shuttle at Leifur Eriksson Hotel and walked 2mins down Skolavordustigur street. A great location for restaurants, sightseeing & shopping. Unfortunately, the sign at the front door is a little confusing , telling us... More

The first impression of the house is... well, impressive :) It's an old villa that stands out amongst the typical Reykjavík houses of its generation, and couldn't be located better if you plan to explore the city center by foot: in the immediate vicinity of Hallgrímskirkja, at Skólavörðustígur, which has become popular for shopping itself, and very near to the...
