Hotel "absolutely more than OK" - quirky decoration, but very comfortable, making you feel at home. Very well stocked with everything you might need for a longer stay even. Very central location. Check-in rather eccentric (as you enter, there is a phone with a number you dial and receive check-in instructions), but very simple to follow. Cleaning every 3rd day... More

This is a small hotel, have about 13 rooms. There is no formal reception area, but the hotel have a Restaurant on first floor and the personnel on the restaurant are able to assist you after hours. Facilities are clean, well maintained and rooms have the basic amenities, you will find kitchenette, coffee maker, microwave and small fridge; more than... More

We had to ask where the hotel was because we could not find it. We walked into the restaurant and were told we had to call the reception to get a code to unlock the safe with our key in it. We get to our room which was clean and cozy. We were only there for about 6 hours as... More

As other have mentioned here, there is no reception. You just call a number, get a code and get your key. Al handled in the K-Bar restaurant, a nice restaurant where you get 15% of on diners. WE thought it would be a problem not having a reception all the time much transport in Reykjavik arranged there, but found an... More

My boyfriend and I booked the ok hotel (for feb 24th-27th)after reading great reviews on tripadvisor-and we weren't disappointed! We arrived at the hotel around 1.30pm which is before check-in time of 3pm but this was no bother. As many have said there's no reception desk so just go straight into the restaurant next door(k bar-great food too!) and there's... More

A trendy little apartment complex. If you want to be in the heart of Reykjavik and are pretty self sufficient then this place is for you. Great, large, clean rooms with a little kitchenette. It was a little rough around the edges with broken plugs and fridge that wouldn't shut but the management sorted issues pretty promptly. You check in... More

I tried 3 accommodations in Reykjavik, and OK Hotel is by far my favorite. The apartments are huge and charming. You get a full kitchen which is worth because the restaurants are expensive in Reykjavik. The location is ideal. Don't go there if you want your room to be cleaned every day. It's an apartment, not a hotel room with... More

After reading previous reviews we knew what to expect from reception and did not have any problems. We arrived about 6.30pm and rang the phone number on the instructions at reception. We were given the number of the safe, which is right next to the phone, and retrieved the envelope with our room keys in it. It's a bit strange... More

Overall, the OK Hotel lives up to its name, it is OK. Located right on the main drag in Downtown Reykjavik, the location of this hotel is by far the best part. Room was fine, but since we had 4 people in our party, 2 of the were sleeping on the 'Pull-out couch' which was pretty much a thin mat... More

As other reviewers have mentioned this is more like an apartment than a hotel. There is no phone in the rooms and there is no hotel reception. You make a call at the front desk and they tell you the instructions. The location of this hotel, though, is amazing. You only need to walk a short distance to everything! The... More
