Stayed here for a few days in september. Rooms spacious no tv or radio. Bit warm. Doors slamming constantly are a problem. If u are on tight budget this place is perfect. As reykjavik is very overpriced and most tours are stupidly expensive and genuine tourists cant afford it

The rooms were clean and had a refrigerator and electric kettle, which was convenient, the staff were nice and helpful. The location, while not in the middle of where we wanted to be, was close enough to everything that it was in easy walking distance.

The place is good and well kept, clean, with plenty of space in the room and clean bathrooms, but our room was not in the main building, where the reception and breakfast room are. To reach our house you actually had to go out and walk past another house (it was a matter of metres, tbh, but still, with heavy... More

This accommodation might not be what ure looking for. Catered to the mass, breakfast is juuust basic and taking place in a tent which is outside the facilities, adjacent to the main building. There are several buildings which provide accommodation, some like 400m away. We stayed in a private room, which was in another building. Very impersonal: you come into... More

My aunt and I stayed here during our stay in Reykjavik. The hostel is in a fairly decent location, it is on the edge of the city centre - about a 20 minute walk to the harbor area, 15 minute walk to the centre of the city, and a 5minute walk to the church. The hostel does have free wifi... More

Great place to base yourself. Excellent service incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Deana from the breakfast service was a warm and friendly person to help wake you up and ready for a day of adventuring. The staff made this place as special as my time spent here. Thanks to everyone!

With friendly staff, clean rooms, a good breakfast and a central location this is a good choice for the budget conscious but (as with many hostels) with one loo to four multi-occupancy rooms be prepared to queue.

We stayed 5 nights and very happy with the service. For the 2 of us we had a single room with shared bathroom facilities. I am not the type that is usually comfortable with this style of accommodation however they were constantly cleaned and was very secure. Breakfast was not included but was the highlight of our stay as it... More

We had quite a cheap deal for the two nights we stayed here, I have read some reviews that paid a lot more so maybe look around for the cheapest deal. When we arrived from the Airport, the reception area was fine and the staff were really pleasant. We were given our key and did not realize that our room... More

I stayed in a total of 3 hostels while in Reykjavik, and this was my least favorite. In terms of amenities, it was exactly the same as the others--they'll book tours for you for free, linen and breakfast are available at an extra cost, and the staff were friendly. The location wasn't great (not a huge deal, since Reykjavik is... More
