This hostel was fine, staff was really helpful, place is near centrum (walking distance), parking for cars on steets around is free. Only one thing: we missed kitchen, but we did our small kitchen in breakfast tent with our own equipment.

This hotel was very basic, but clean and the staff was extremely helpful. The only amenities were two towels, some instant coffee with sugar cubes and creamer, and an electric kettle for boiling water. The Internet was spotty. We were not in the main building, but in one of the adjacent buildings, and we couldn't access the free wifi but... More

My 3 friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. It was my first stay in a foreign hostel and I didn't know what to expect. However, first impressions were great, receptionists were very friendly and also very helpful throughout our stay, even chasing up our coach company when they didn't show up for us! Our room had two... More

The hostel location is very good as it's 7-minute-walk to the city center. The rooms are good and the bathrooms are generally clean with soaps and tissue papers. The staff are very helpful and knowledgable. The female receptionist dedicated some time to print out the timings of the bus and ferry to Westman Island. I wouldn't have made it without... More

#Good Points: *Cheap Breakfast *Room Cleaned every 2nd day *Near City Center #Bad Points: *Defiantly not worth a 2 star hostel *Too many people on the floor sharing toilet... I had to go downstairs just to take a shower & use the toilet! *If your room next to Toilet you can hear EVERYTHING! that goes on (VERY thin walls so... More

For the price you pay for many hostels, this is good for price. The hostel itself was a bit weird though... The room was a good size and was clean which is good but for some reason they had decided to board up all of the kitchens in the apartments. Seems odd to take away kitchens that are in decent... Right in the center of Reykjavik city. It was very comfortable, extremly friendly staff and very helpful at all times. Neat and clean apartments (especially serviced apartments). Great breakfast in the mornings. Best of all was the price and the location. Accessible by the tour buses - they come and pick you up directly from the hostel. Adam at the... More

Marina, the lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful in making our stay and arranging a tour for us eventful. It's not the hilton but well worth the money considering everything in Iceland is very pricey!

Great place, Great location. Adam at the desk was terrific. Lovely breakfast, bright clean dining room, friendly dining staff. Nice, clean room with sink and mini fridge. Sufficient, convenient toilets/showers. The showers need to have grab bars to help people who are are in need of this support - it is dangerous not to have this available. We stay at... More
