My aunt and I stayed here during our stay in Reykjavik. The hostel is in a fairly decent location, it is on the edge of the city centre - about a 20 minute walk to the harbor area, 15 minute walk to the centre of the city, and a 5minute walk to the church. The hostel does have free wifi... More

Great place to base yourself. Excellent service incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Deana from the breakfast service was a warm and friendly person to help wake you up and ready for a day of adventuring. The staff made this place as special as my time spent here. Thanks to everyone!

With friendly staff, clean rooms, a good breakfast and a central location this is a good choice for the budget conscious but (as with many hostels) with one loo to four multi-occupancy rooms be prepared to queue.

We stayed 5 nights and very happy with the service. For the 2 of us we had a single room with shared bathroom facilities. I am not the type that is usually comfortable with this style of accommodation however they were constantly cleaned and was very secure. Breakfast was not included but was the highlight of our stay as it... More

We had quite a cheap deal for the two nights we stayed here, I have read some reviews that paid a lot more so maybe look around for the cheapest deal. When we arrived from the Airport, the reception area was fine and the staff were really pleasant. We were given our key and did not realize that our room... More

I stayed in a total of 3 hostels while in Reykjavik, and this was my least favorite. In terms of amenities, it was exactly the same as the others--they'll book tours for you for free, linen and breakfast are available at an extra cost, and the staff were friendly. The location wasn't great (not a huge deal, since Reykjavik is... More

A room for three cost about $180 a night, but everything in Iceland is spendy. It had comfortable beds, but as in all hostels, its hard sharing a bathroom with a floor of people and this only allowed for one person at a time. So if you stay here, you might want to look at a unit with a bathroom.... More

I must first say, the staff (Adam at front desk, NY gal who runs breakfast, evening reception girl & maintenance guy) were a few that we interacted with, were very accommodating. We had a slight issue with our sleeping arrangements bc of tour company and Adam resolved it quickly! Wonderful location to downtown and proximity to the reception/breakfast building is... More

We spent a very good time here (4 friends). If you don't rent a car, the location is perfect : 5 mins to go to the BSI and the city center. The reception is open 24h/24h and We have the possibility to book excursions everytime, even in the evening. We recommand it !

This hostel was fine, staff was really helpful, place is near centrum (walking distance), parking for cars on steets around is free. Only one thing: we missed kitchen, but we did our small kitchen in breakfast tent with our own equipment.
