Didn't seem very clean, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Beds are worn and need replacing. Room was quaint and warm. Didn't have a problem getting into the shared bathroom. Close to shopping and places to eat. The town is small so it's easy to walk around.

We really enjoyed staying here. Central for the town and reasonable price (for Iceland). Bit like a top end hostel. Clean and does a fair breakfast. Top tip: if you have a car then Park by the bus station for cheaper parking zone 2.

I stayed here with my partner a few weeks ago and obviously Iceland is not cheap but this was good for the price and in a perfect location for exploring the city! Was very clean and the employees were incredibly friendly and watched the world cup with us! Will definitely stay here when we come back!!

Spent 2 nights here to end our trip to iceland. - We were in a 3 person private room with 3 separate single beds, sink, closet, chairs, table. The bed is far from comfortable and the furnishings are quite outdated, I felt like I was at my grandmothers house - You're in Iceland so expect to pay a lot for... More

The buffet is okay and has all basics needed. Price is, compared to other places, fair (ISK 1800, all included). Serves from 8 to 10:30. I slept in Hlemmur Square Hostel and had my breakfast here which is compared way better.

I stayed here for 2 nights and very much enjoyed my stay. They do offer breakfast, it's very basic but good. The shared bathroom and showers not a problem and were clean every time I went to them. Nice hot showers! The bed was super comfy...although with it being June and light 24 hours, the only thing I wish was... More

Good guesthouse with great location at the end of the main shopping street. Sharing shower & bathrooms was fine. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. (just across the street beside the Phallological Museum)

We stayed here for two nights in Reykjavik in a room with two twin beds. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There was a sink and mirror in the room. It is in a great location downtown on the main street which is quite loud, so bring earplugs if that will be a problem for you. The Phallological... More

This place was just great! Everything was clean and neat, rooms were perfect size and nice and warm. We had everything we needed in the room, bed lights, mirrors (3 girls - its needed) cupboard for coats etc. Bathrooms were always clean. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. We easily got a hair dryer and made booking and... More

101 is a very basic and practical guesthouse, although maybe should be renamed Hostel. The rooms are clean and tidy, however noisey with traffic on main street. Amenities are good but could do with a little care and maintenance. The location was perfect for our stay in the capital with the the town on the doorstep. Staff are very accomodating... More
