Klopp I s the smallest of the CenterHotel Group. Perfect location 1 blk off Laugavagur. very helpful staff good knowledge of area. Booked my golden circle tour and fly-bus with out a blink. Breakfast buffet is a bit bland but always clean well stocked. Room was typical Euro. small but very clean. Klopp makes an excellant base for exploing Reykjavik. more

We liked this hotel. We went in early october and managed to get a good deal. For the money it was very nice and good value. It was not 5 star but we were not paying 5 star prices so we were quite happy. The room was quite small but the bed was very comfy and we had all the... more

Generally a great place. The rooms were a bit tight but that's expected in Europe. Breakfast was served daily downstairs and was generally a pretty good continental spread. Staff was somewhat clueless about their city which was surprising but helpful when it came to hotel service. Best of all, it was located a short walk from the water, on a... more

Klopp is just a block off of the main shopping and entertainment street in Reykjavik. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your perspective), one of Reykjavik's many 5am clubs is across the street so plan on no sleep on Thur/Fri/Sat. Other than that, the hotel is fine and serves a nice breakfast. Staff is very helpful. The rooms on the front... more

Hotel Klopp is a stylish, modern house close to the main shopping street in Reykajvik. We found a good deal for this hotel (€ 70/ per room/ per night) so we can say it was by far the best value for money thing we had in Iceland. But the normal price for a night is around € 200! All the... more

The hotel is within a block from the main tourist street in town and within easy walking distance of most things you would want to see in the city. The rooms are standard European size and clean. The breakfast is fairly straightforward and overall the staff helpful. more

We stayed here on 7 Aug for 4 nights. Myself, husband and 2 yr old daughter had a fifth floor room overlooking the sea and it was quiet. My parents had a fourth floor room overlooking the street and on Fri and Sat night it was very noisy. The rooms are small which is fine for 2 people but was... more

We stayed here one day at the start of our vacation and four at the end. This is a good small hotel in a great central location. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good - fresh breads, good granola with Skyr (a creamy Icelandic version of yogourt), eggs, meats and cheese. For the second... more

This location is great. Two blocks from the shore and a block from the main night life scene. The lobby is lovely and the breakfast is adequate. However, to the American traveler, the standard rooms are small (think dorm rooms with a bathroom). If you are just looking for a bed and a place to store your luggage, this place... more
