Stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Great location, lovely room, once you got used to have a sink in the bedroom, friendly staff and yummie breakfast. Service was super friendly and the room spotless. A bit pricey, as expected in Ice.and, but worth it.

Price too high vs. quality. Heavy night street noise (traffic, people). Bad ventilation, a smell of moisture/rot in the room. Stereo for phone 4, only. A small TV set, bad sound. Too dark corridors, useless key system

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. The location is perfect to access all of the city centre's amenities, yet once you step inside the hotel, the hustle and bustle is left behind. The decor is understated, stylish and contemporary. The lounge is a great place to relax with a drink at the end of a day's sightseeing and... More

loved this hotel, modern style in the centre of town, the staff were wonderful so helpful and friendly eager to help and assist. Will definitely return cannot recommend highly enough. Style in modern but we definitely experience old fashioned Icelandic hospitality

First, the location of this stylish hotel is perfect, and the staff could not be more helpful. The restaurant is good, and you can sit by the fire in the lounge and enjoy a cup of something warm, or a drink. The edgy art and decor, and the music, techno hip to Edit Piaf, make you feel cool just for... More

This was not the most luxurious hotel in which I have stayed, but it was terrific. It also was among the most comfortable and well-managed hotels I have experienced with a friendly and exceedingly accommodating staff. My stay began with a pleasant surprise when I arrived at 7:30am after a terrible flight experience from the US and I was greeted... More

This beautiful (literally, modern design and interesting art) small hotel is ideally located walking distance from much of what makes Reykjavik an interesting destination, including the concert hall, top restaurants, fun bars, art galleries, museums and shopping. You have to be comfortable with a (high-end) bathtub in the middle of your room, but the Euro-design is part of the fun.... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Very Helpful Conceirge for tours, rental cars, restaurants. Small gym but functional. Lounge and bar very clean; great art and ambiance. Only negative no late night food service after bar/restaurant closes. King room very clean and good size. Bathroom / sink is open layout. Great location to all shops, Harbor, Main Street near water. Highly recommend... More

Hotel 101 is a very nice hotel in a great location. The staff are very helpful. We got a good rate for 3 nights. However, the rack rates seem high to me even for Iceland. I woulld give it even a higher rating if it were nto for some of the construciton noise- not the fault of the hotel.

Great location, nice staff, really good restaurants. But room 105 is just off the small lobby, and you might as well be sleeping in the bar (closes at 11:30). The people in the bar were not unusually loud, and should be having a good time. The room also has windows on the sidewalk, so the cheerful people on their way... More

Dear, Clare W Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am very pleased you liked the location, our staff and restaurant. As we are indeed a hotel in the very heart of Reykjavik there can be some street noise. I would like to apologize if this affected your stay with us... More
