Friends strongly recommended the 101 and we were not disappointed. Reykjavik is expensive for food and drink but our accommodation was well priced - we were offered the cheapest rate shown on Trivago without having to haggle. The pre-arrival service/advice via email was great. All our tours were booked in advanced and catered exactly to our interests. From arrival to... More

Booked the hotel as looked chic - the hotel itself is nice however our deluxe rooms on the second floor were a nightmare - you can hear every noise from the road, and now that the building next door has recently been changed to a club - you hear drunken party goers all night - we had no sleep at... 101 hotel is conveniently located in downtown Reykjavik, but that does come with the downside of being in a very noisy area. It was otherwise comfortable, restaurant mostly forgettable, but good service from the staff. Most tours do a pickup from this location.

Hotel was nice in terms of design, and great location! However, staff were not up to standard of other similar hotels we've stayed in. They weren't BAD, but they weren't trained properly. No one seemed to be in charge. It seemed like they were all students just working part time, and not that bothered! Hotel was noisy, but not so... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in mid November 2015, in a junior suite. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the location, rooms (with extra glazing) and the vibe. It really is a chic and chiiled place inside. Our room was large with good storage, but the first thing that struck me as I walked in, is the basin... More

Stayed here visiting for the weekend, great happy hour and bar area, really snug for hanging out pre dinner. Great facilities and lovely complimentary items in the room, great stocked room with extra essentials. Wasn't keen on it being all glass, was very clinical, and when showering a big draft through into it because they have no door (open to... More

Just spent the most fantastic weekend in Reykjavik and stayed in 101 Hotel. Fantastic place, quirky art and bags of atmosphere. The staff where amazing, so friendly and helpful. Omar on the front desk is tremendous, nothing is to much trouble from finding a last minute reservation in a much sought after restaurant to hunting down "the man in the... More

Was there for 10 days over New Years, which is quite an experience. To be honest I was there more for the festivities than the monuments, and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is perfectly located for everything Reykjavik has to offer within easy walking distance. Lots of good restaurants and great bars, however the hotel bar was very popular with... More

In the best location, 30 seconds from the main shopping street with a large choice of restaurants & bars. Charming staff who were there to help and make us feel very welcome. Our room wasn't the largest but it was perfectly done with all the amenities included.. Aveda hair products etc. Cocktail bar was fab, very nice drinks in a... More

Right in the center of town so it's in a great location. Our room was huge, really comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast is great with lots of options. Really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
