The penthouse apartment in a house run by Luna was immaculate, the decor magazine-worthy. It had all the comforts of home, and was very quiet. A large open balcony affords rooftop views of Rekjavik. This was a perfect base for our four day introduction to Iceland on our way to vacation in Paris, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this... More

We spent six nights in a small, but perfect second floor unit. The room was comfortable, clean, well furnished and -- as others have said -- the location could not have been better for first time visitors to Reykjavik. Everything including the very handy Bonus supermarket and a very nice restaurant called Snaps were very close. Every other day someone... More

The Luna is the perfect place to stay in Reykjavik! The quaint hotel is on a quiet, charming residential street just a couple of minutes walk to the Laugavegur - the main street with pubs and restaurants galore. All the city's main landmarks, best restaurants, the romantic Tjornin duck pond, and the harbour are all within a very short walking... More

Thank you Ellert, Linda & Daniel our apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was close to the action yet had a nice neighbourhood feel and so convenient to the bakery & market! We'll certainly recommend it to others and plan to return ourselves soon!

Stayed here in the beginning of May during a week when Rekjavik city was very busy with some gaming meet, The location is fantastic absolutely close to everything but still in a quite area , 5 minutes walk to the center and 2 minutes walk to the small supermarket, I would suggest to rent a car when visiting Iceland its... Excellent location and helpful friendly staff. Although previous reviews are generally very good for the Luna apartments I could not recommend the studio apartment. The room was very small, there is little ventilation and there is too much noise from the street. The room is almost on the road and it is difficult to sleep with the sounds from traffic... More

I stayed five nights in the studio apartment in the Spítalastíg 1 location near the end of May. The studio and location met my needs and was a short walking distance to lots of good places to eat, shopping, Grayline tour office, and some sightseeing places. The small Bonus grocery store is just around the corner (about a 2 minute... More

Prebooking process was great. I had many email questions and Daniel and Hrafnkell were very patient and accommodating. We stayed at their Amtmannsstígur 5 apartment which was in a great location and only 5 minute walk to the main bus terminal. We stayed from June 5-11, 2014 and with all the daylight (20+ hours) people seemed to stay out late.... More

I went to Reykjavik recently with my family, and it's usually pretty tough for all of us to find one hotel that has enough beds for all of us. The Luna Apartments were phenomenal and really gave us that home away from home feeling. We each had our own bedroom, a nice little kitchen and living space and two or... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that was very close to the town center, a supermarket, a bakery, and several restaurants. The apartment was quiet, clean and the beds were very comfortable, but I would not say it was "beautifully decorated." There was free wifi and local phone service. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Our only problem was that... More
