The hotel is idealy located and close to the harbour. Lets start from the beginning...... I arrived and the receptionist was friendly and checkin was quick. Check out was equally quick, but as I had breakfast included in my price, I was never offered a quick coffee like another guest on checking out at 4.20am today. The room are clean,... More

Just returned home from spending three nights at the Marina hotel. We enjoyed our stay but wished we had received a bigger room. The hotel is known for small rooms but I think we got the smallest room in the hotel. There was about six inches between the sides of the bed and the wall. But the staff was friendly... More

A warm atmosphere, small but nice room with a nice balcony with harbour view. I love the mix of icelandic colourful design together with concrete walls... A very nice conference room, perfect for up to 25 people and a bar/restaurang with a very nice atmosphere, very popular among icelanders! One of the best hotel breakfasts I´ve ever had and ever... A bit of a lengthy wait to check in. Only one person was at the desk during a busy evening. Small, new, clean, functional room within walking distance of all the downtown Reykjavik sites. I had a room overlooking the drydock, which was fascinating but a little loud between 8a-8p. Good hamburger place for a casual meal next door, Hamborgarabúllan.

Loved my stay at the hotel. Had a great room on the top floor, overlooking the marina. Could have spent all day sitting on the nice balcony, watching all the activity in the harbor. The rooms are small, but well designed, and I was very comfortable. Really enjoyed all the activity at the hotel bar at night, with some of... More

The hotel is located very near the centre of Reykjavik. Everything is within walking distance, even the National Museum. We upgraded to a superior room with mountain/harbour view, we didn't regret that. The rooms were cosy, excellent (large) tv. The atmosphere at the bar was so tempting we even had a drink there before going out (not something we do... More

The hotel is located by the Marina, ideally situated for the harbour, restaurants, museums, and the magnificent Concert Hall, with the main shopping area just a few minutes walk away. The rooms are rather small with shower rooms separated only by a sliding frosted glass door, but perfectly adequate, warm and clean. The reception area is good with a welcoming... More

Arrived past midnight for a weekend with friends, afraid to find the place near deserted, only to be welcomed by two happy guys in the reception, hushing us into the open, trendy bar packed with a happy crowd of locals and travelers, business people and friends out for a drink. And what drinks! Expensive, but excellent. Trying to order a... More

We were dropped off at 5:30AM. You can imagine how tired we were. We enquired if we could do an early check-in. The person at the front desk was very compassionate and helpful. Although the room our travel agent had booked for us was not immediately available, there was an upgraded room that was free. The upgraded room is on... More

Reykjavik Marina is situated at the old harbor, next to a still operating shipyard. You wake up to a beautiful harbor full of life and only a few blocks to down town Reykjavik. Highly recommended!
