I was traveling alone to Iceland and wanted a hotel that was in the city center. This city is one of the safest in the world and that was a wonderful feeling for an older female traveling alone. It was small, efficient, compact and reasonably priced. Iceland is very expensive at all levels. The Snaps restaurant adjacent to the hotel... More

Firstly, the staff is excellent, in particular Iris. She went out of her way to help before and during our arrival. The location is at the top of a hill and about 10 minutes to the center of the city. Rooms were definitely dated with worn furniture, tiny bathroom, but comfy beds. We were in a junior suite which really... More

Stayed here at start and finish of two week trip to Iceland. Both time rooms were clean, rooms vary in size and are adequate. could do with thick blackout blinds as it did not get dark, therefore made getting to sleep difficult! Breakfast was good.

The hotel was nice and the restaurant -(snaps) very good. We had breakfast buffet daily and Dinner was delicious. My bad for not calling the hotel ahead of time and requesting a quiet room The hotel was fully booked. The room they gave us was quiet for 2 nights but on the third night some people were talking loudly in... More

We booked a double deluxe room for five days. We managed to get a room from the top floor and a view was perfect. The hotel was nice and clean, location was great and staff was friendly. Thank you, our stay was perfect. I already wait for my next visit to Iceland and there isn´t any reason to choose another... More

We actually stayed 3 nights in the Odvinse apartments which is about 100m away from the hotel in a separate building. When we arrived, the facade looked in very poor shape and we already expected the worst. But at the hotel, they were very friendly. Once we got into the apartment, it actually looked very nice and was really spacious... More

Very nice small hotel on the hilltop in Reyjavik. Room was small but very comfortable with a lovely down comforter. Did stay on street side which was a little noisy as it is daylight until 1130 pm when I visited in Kune. Resteraunt is connected , I assume it's owned by hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Food organic and a buffet... More

The hotel is located just above (3 minutes walk) the touristic heart of Reyjavik. It is next to the main city church which has a large free parking area. This is convenient if you have a car. The reception team is young , friendly and eager to help. The room we had was a bit small but very clean and... More

I stayed here with a friend in mid-June. The room was a reasonable size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and the coffee was particularly good. Staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful. The hotel is tucked away just off the main shopping street and round the corner from the iconic church. The cafe opposite is also very good for coffee... More
