This was booked by my lovely wife for my 50th surprise birthday present. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They we very helpful and nothing was too much. The location was central round the corner from the church and close to restuarents. The rooms were spacious and clean and we had a patio door to a balcony... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is possible to book everything from transfer to the airport to day trips all over Iceland from the reception, with pick up at the hotel. Some of the hotel rooms were under renovation, but the noise level were not of any disturbance. The hotel is located... More

stayed here for 2 nights, perfect location for exploring town, loads of interesting coffee shops and bistros on your door step. Bedroom was ample size and the bed itself was big and comfortable. There is fantastic little bar / bistro in the hotel which was extremely chilled with a couple of locals at the bar. overall very good would stay... More

Great location. Very friendly staff who helped to arrange tours and dinner reservations for us. We came here for my birthday and the staff provided us with complimentary chocolates. The rooms were clean and reasonably sized. The area around hotel was extremely safe and close to many attractions and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful. Clean simple rooms that were perfect our long weekend in Iceland. Food at Snaps restaurant was amazing so makes this hotel even more attractive for our next visit. Will definitely be back soon.

Hotel is in great location for walking around Reykjavik. Rooms are very clean and bed was comfortable with a oversized down comforter (good for sleeping in after staying out to late). Hot shower. Great restaurant downstairs with a nice bar. Staff was exceptionally friendly and gave me some great recommendations on bars/dining.

Great location, good beds and pillows. This hotel is undergoing renovation and the new rooms are nice but lack warmth, need a splash of colour. Walls are bare, too much beige and brown, needs pictures - something just to make it look less sterile. Also the blinds are cut to narrow and you get the street light (in winter) and... More

I stayed at the Hotel Odinsve for 7 nights (and I still don't know how to pronounce it! "Odinsve-ah"?). I stayed in a junior suite with double bed. I chose it based on it's lower price and good reviews. I was tempted to stay in a more modern hotel, but chose this one because it had a minibar, which I... More

The apartments run by Hotel Odinsve are located around 2-3 minutes walk from the main hotel. The location is great, really central, plenty of nice restaurants and shops nearby and in easy walking distance to the bus depot for excursions. My two friends and I stayed in the 2 bed apartment for 3 nights (Sat-Tues). The apartment was excellent and... More
