We stayed for 3 nights in the 2 bedroom Odinsve Apartments. The location is beyond perfect. It was only a short walk to the apartment from the hotel check in and there were lots of pars available on the street. The views are first class and you could not be any closer to the best bars, restaurants and shops. The... More

Rarely do you find a hotel that offers so much, friendly staff, advice on tours etc, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, the beds/bedding were exceptional, heating was superb. All the facilities, tea/coffee, hairdryer etc all there too. Breakfast was 5 star and all you could eat too. The variety of breads was brilliant. A true... More

I took a punt and stayed here for 2 nights as the price was right and my usual hotel in Reykjavik didn't have suitable rooms available. The location was great - only a block from the main drag as well as the big church. The rooms look like they have been recently renovated and decorated in a boutique hotel style.... More

This is a good hotel which is located right in the centre of Reykjavik! Top tip ask for a higher floor room for a better view. The only down side is the lock of public space. The only area is a small lounge opposite the reception. There's also SNAPS which i have reviewed separately. The guy on reception when we... More

We went to Iceland over February half term and did not know what to expect. We stayed here and had a great time. Hotel clean and the staff at reception particularly the ladies were so helpful with sorting out tours and answered our questions with inordinate patience. They were brilliant and I would recommend this Hotel. The restaurant next door... More

As I am not one to want to walk or be cold for that matter, so I really appreciated the central location of this hotel. Try the breakfast /coffee shop across the street too- so good!!! Staff is knowledgeable and very nice. They made some excellent dinner reservations for us for the best food we had on any trip and... More

We found the hotel staff really friendly and helpful, they would check all tour/airport pick ups which was great. Breakfast was really nice in the adjoining restaurant. We got to see the lights on our last night and it really made our trip. We will definitely be back when our boys are a little older and stay at the hotel... More

A lovely little hotel close to the centre of Reykjavic, and a short walk from the major tourist sights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble - they checked all our tours and pick up times and gave us ideas for things to do and places to eat.Our basic twin room was perfectly adequate, and... We stayed at this hotel because it was the cheapest 4* hotel close to all the attractions. The staff were friendly and polite... the room was good for the money... there was no safe in the room through but the reception was happy to store any valuables. The breakfast wasn't too good and slightly expensive...so I would recommend venturing out... More

Came here to see the northern lights as a surprise 40th birthday treat from my husband. Very impressed with this boutique hotel. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the welcome is friendly and inviting. We emailed ahead to ask for an upgrade but it wasn't to be however we were in room 311 which can be seen from...
