This is more like a 3.5 stars review. The positives are a good breakfast, an excellent spa and wonderful massage services, and very friendly staff. You can also leave your luggage if you go out of town. The not so good are the rooms. The TVs are old and in our room it was very hard to work on the... More

just got back staying here for 3 nights and loved everything about this place: friendly staff, quiet, comfy bed, clean rooms, hot water (duh..it's iceland), fairly close proximity to downtown Reykjavik, and nice restaurant named Satt inside the hotel with some really good food and coffee! the only knock i have with my room was that the shower is small.... As part of our package with Icelandair, we opted for the cheaper Hotel Natura. Although right next to the domestic airport, we couldn't hear any noise from the airport. Our room was simple and nicely decorated with pictures of local locations in Iceland. Our room had a double bed with two comforters, big chair, table, tv (didn't work), mini fridge,... More

We stayed twice. Firs time we had a room right next to the elevator, it was so, so noisy. There is no soundproofing in any of the rooms so we heard every person who entered/exited the elevator, even the ding as it landed on our floor. Very poor quality of sleep. The rooms are small and feel cramped. The second... More

We flew to Iceland as part of an Icelandair Northern Lights Package, which included lodging at either the Natura or Marina hotel. We chose the Natura for the on-site pool and spa. I'm so glad we did! We used the swimming pool every night after chilly hikes, horseback riding, and shopping/sight-seeing downtown Reykjavik. The hotel location is very close to... More

We stayed only one night but It is a hotel that I can rekommend. It has modern and fresh decorated rooms with all things you need, even free Wifi. The breakfast buffé was marvellous and goodtasting. Absolute nothing to complaint of.

We arrived at 9:00am Iceland time, after flying for 7 hours from Seattle. Our room was ready. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful. The hotel is what a hotel would look like if IKEA had a hotel. Very modern and lovely. I will say some of the paint is tired, as is the hallway carpet, but it... More

Given that we arrived at the hotel at roughly 8 AM after an overnight flight from Washington, DC, we were pleasantly surprised that we could go to our room and rest for a bit. The rooms are pretty typical of Europe, i.e., relatively small, especially by US standards. Breakfast buffet was very tasty, if pricey, but there are no other... More
