We stayed here for 3 days during our trip to Iceland. The Hotel is close to Reykjavik airport (Domestic airport), which was logistically convenient as we travelling to North Iceland as well as Air tour of glaciers and volcanoes. Natura Hotel is away from the city so one doesn't have much to do in the hotel. The Hotel provides complimentary... More

Needless to say a trip to Iceland is not something one does everyday, so a first impression is essential to make you feel welcome but who has ever thought about a last impression and how that could affect your trip?! We were on a guided tour through Iceland for a week and spent the first and last nights here, at... More

We stayed in one of the newly furnished Art Rooms. It was modern, clean, roomy and comfortable with some nice pictures on the walls. The bathroom was modern and spacious and the beds v comfortable. Our tv was a flat screen on the wall and we had no issues with getting wifi. From the outside the hotel looks like an... More

The hotel was simple in its design but very clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn't have been more helpful particularly when booking day excursions. When I arrived I discovered that a free bus pass is available should you wish to explore Reykjavik on your own and tour operators picked you up from the front door if you... More

The service at the hotel was impeccable except for 1 fella. Even then he was trying his best despite his grumpy demeanor. Everyone was efficient and extremely helpful. It's definitely an older hotel if the large chunky televisions are any indication. The rooms were small but neat and tidy with ok views. Plenty of closet space and a very cold... More

It's a very busy hotel and there was always a huge queue at the reception but waiting time at the reception was reasonable. Staff were friendly, room was simple and neat (a bit small) and most importantly we really enjoyed the food in their restaurant. The food was the best out of the 3 Icelandair hotels we stayed at and... More

I've read some of the poor reviews of the Natura and have to defend the hotel. It has been refurbished in a modern Danish style. Some of the rooms are small; but we have not found this to be a problem. It is not a Hilton or one of the higher end US hotels. It is charming. The staff is... More

We were here three nights in mid-February hoping to catch the Northern Lights. No luck with the lights but we really liked the Natura. Front desk was always on point- we arrived very early after skipping our Blue Lagoon stopover from Keflavik due to weather and the nice fellow at check in got us in as soon as he could.... More

We stayed at this hotel in 2011 and LOVED it! We were in an updated room, and breakfast and spa entry were included. We were so impressed that we decided to stay again in 2015. Big mistake. This time we had to pay for breakfast (about $22/person/day), and they wanted us to pay $20/person to get into the spa! In... More

This hotel was built in the 1960's and the room we stayed in looked it. Tiny. Old tube tele - one real channel. Single beds. Old carpet. Dust behind everything. In the USA this room might get $29 a night. I saw there were updated rooms but they were taken by those smarter and quicker than me. The lobby area... More

Dear guest, We are sorry that you experienced one of our older rooms in such a negative way. Unfortunately we have not had the chance to renovate all the 220 rooms at the hotel, we still have about 40 rooms left. For your information we plan to renovate them soon and thus have all the rooms at the hotel newly... More
