We were taking a couple back to back very long day trips and wanted to be close to the airport. Hotel Natura fit the bill perfectly. (I had chosen it originally because of the pool but realized we were going to be able to use it.) Hot showers with outstanding water pressure (I love this geo-thermal country!). It worked wonders... After staying 3 nights at Alda hotel which is rank #2 at Reykjavik, I was impressed with Hotel Natura considering it is half the cost that of Alda. Alda's room is poorly lighted and Natura room is huge and very bright. Yet at night, I can pull the curtains and the room was pretty dark. I've been using eye shades... More

This hotel is located at the Reykjavik airport but also very close to downtown. The hotel offers free bus passes to/from the hotel to town. The lobby and restaurant Satt are updated and modern. But the hotel room we stayed in was very dated. The room was average sized but the bathroom was a bit small. Considering it is so... More

My trip was very short (3 nights) and disjointed due to being so busy whilst in Reykjavik so a bit of a disjointed experience. Probably wouldn't stay again, list of my pros and cons Pros: comfy beds, good atmosphere, nice interior, good wifi , included in pick ups with all tour operators. Great water shower facilities. Good blackout curtains Cons:... More

The Natura was one of the first "luxury" hotel and therefore one of the oldest in Iceland and would not be tops on any list of places to stay in Reykjavik. While it has a 60's vibe, lmost all the rooms have a step in the middle of the room which will cause serious injuries if you don't know it's... More

We spent 3 nights here as a family of four and found the family room a good size with comfortable beds. The youngest loved the big cuddly elephant in the room. We found the staff friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel only for one meal at dinner time, which we found reasonable and the quality of food was... More

Great hotel but with as few things that need improvements. Visited a year ago in June, and it was very hot, but the hotel has no AC, i asked for a fan and got one,but with difficulty. The staff is a bit cold towards helping out. i booked this hotel because it is within walking distance to the domestic airport.... More

Everything is good with the hotel except the location. It's a bit of walk to downtown. Great service and room was clean. It's next to the regional airport so get a room facing the parking lot. It's across from the Perlan. It's probably ok place if you get a good rate and don't mind a walk to downtown.

The Hotel is located quite a bit outside the main city center but you can get a free bus pass to use the public transport to get into town. Not to far away is the Perla and a small public beach. The rooms are modern and good.

This hotel is outside of town, but we were able to walk into town in about 15-20 minutes. The rooms were clean and a decent size. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were able to take a bus into town easily as well. We ate breakfast and a dinner in the hotel and were pleased with the food.... More
