This hotel was totally adequate for our holiday in Reykjavik. Most of the reviews here seem accurate, the rooms are average-size and slightly dated. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from downtown but it's a pleasant walk largely through residential areas. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and massive amounts of free parking. We even got so... more

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in April 2009 - the hotel is about 10mins walk from the centre of the town with a garage just outside where you can buy drinks\snacks etc instead of using room service. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and all the bus tours will pick you up from the hotel. The... more

We got a fantastic rate via gtahotels.com (55 euro)- it's not the most central but a pleasant short walk in to the centre - fantastic views, great breakfast, plenty of parking and a great room. On the downside the Spa was only open between 9-4 and the well reviewed 8th floor restaurant was closed - both due to it being... more

My sister and I (22 and 21 years old) stayed in SAGA for 7 nights. Rooms are not big, but are comfortable and clean. Design is appealing both in the rooms and n the hotel. Breakfast was great. Service fast and precise. Had no issues at all!! Will definitely stay there again. 10 minute walk to the downtown area. more

My husband and I, together with another couple, stayed at the Radisson SAS Saga for a long weekend. This is a perfectly adequate hotel, but not that swish or exciting. The rooms are pretty dated, although everything worked and nothing was broken. The rooms are very large which we thought was a definite advantage. Cleanliness was so-so/acceptable, although we overheard... more

We stayed here for 4 nights and can not praise the staff enough. we stayed with our 11 month old daughter and they went out of their way to accomodate us. The room was very clean, the cot in immaculate condition, and the food was delicious I would definitely reccommend this to any family more

This is a great hotel. Loved the breakfast in the morning - it was included in our room rate - important to do this otherwise it is around €25 pp. We used the spa facilities onsite - great gym and jacuzzi. The rooms were a great size and good sized bathrooms. The only small thing i would say is the... more

The largest hotel in Reykjavik but still very personable. The central fireplace in the breakfast room is fantastic as is the breakfast served. The rooms are well maintained, warm and very comforable. Good toiletries supplied for free. Basement spa area is excellent > nice hot tub lit be candlelight and a small sauna. Beware, the steam room is very hot... more

We got to stay here one night when our plane was delayed by 24 hours and the airline booked us in. The hotel appeared very luxurious on entering. We were put on the seventh floor and our rooms had clearly seen better days, however the view was wonderful and apart from a grubby carpet and a bit of peeling wall... more

We were booked for 4 nights at the hotel as part of a birthday gift to myself. Having read the previous reviews I felt it vital to give my view as the hotel was absolutely great whilst we were there. The staff were friendly and very helpful - the room was clean tidy and and exactly what we ordered. The... more
