The Radisson Blu Saga Hotel is a pleasant hotel in Reykjavik. It is located in the university area of the city and generally seems to be a quiet area. Just a short walk mostly downhill brings you to the city center area, 10 mins brisk walk & 15 mins stroll. The staff are friendly and always seem to have a... More

I was in Iceland the last week of October, on a solo journey. I was hopeful that travelling there alone would be a positive experience and it absolutely was! I found the staff extremely helpful and accommodating and cheerful. In particular the front desk staff, the breakfast room staff, and the housekeeping staff. I also really appreciated the on-site travel... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in nov 2014. Nice enough hotel close to town (15 min walk ) cinema across the road but not much else close by. Although its situated close to a very busy road we did not hear traffic from our room. Seemed the hotel was short staffed at times which meant waiting a long time to... More

Decent sized room but the daily maid service was erratic. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the evening buffet less so. Food served was never quite hot enough. Bar service was slow & quite often without anyone behind the bar, even during Happy Hour, which was a bit strange. The hotel is 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Reykjavik. On... More

I visited Reykjavik towards the end of October and stayed at the Radisson Blu Saga. The reception area had a small selection of food and a purchase of skyr along with a vegetable sandwich went down well. I had one meal in the Grillid restaurant and one in the buffet and found both fine though with more choice in the... More

Top notch service with a smile. Ingud was a great hostess and became a personal trip adviser. 10 min walk to town. Just far enough away to feel secluded. I enjoyed the walk to town every day. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Just got back from a 5 day adventure in Iceland. We stayed at the Radisson Blu Saga Hotel in Rejkjavik and it was great. It is about a 5-10 walk from the restaurants and attractions in the downtown core. The service and the food at the hotel were very good. A very good hotel to stay at if your ever... More

I was a bit worried having read some of the reviews but I thought this was a charming hotel with a bit more character than something ultra modern. The outside isn't appealing but the inside it clean, smart and the room was big. Staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast was superb with loads of choice. Helga on the... More

We booked a 4 star break staying in Reykjavik. We opted to stay a bit out of the city and the Saga was perfect in a quiet part and only about 10 minute walk to centre of city. We were not expecting the best hotel after the reviews here but for a city break the hotel was abosolutely fine. Comfy... More
