I pretty much echo what everyone else has said. I arrived early, expecting to have to store my bag until check-in time, but the nice woman at reception was able to find a top floor room for me. However, it was a bit shabby. When all the celebrities stayed here, it surely must have been nicer. My single room only... More

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff on reception were pleasant and the room service was prompt and to a good standard. The hotel is next to a small cinema complex and about 10-15 minutes walk to downtown. When we initially arrived we were placed in a standard room which was grim for Radisson standards. The furniture was dated... More

stayed here on my way from Akureryi to an early morning international flight, and for that it's perfect, but I would definitely not choose it for any other reason. cons: -extremely tired rooms. The carpet in the hallway looked water stained, the room's wallpaper was peeling off, the bathroom's aggressively dated style was covered in limescale (or something whitish). Sink... More

We stayed here for our honeymoon and are more than happy. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Ingunn the receptionist who went out of her way to book us a lovely restsraunt. We had a complimentary bottle of fizz and chocolate too. Would definitely recommend. :-)

My wife and I have just returned home from a 3 night stay as part of a prearranged tour package. I have to advise the hotel fell well short of our expectations for a quality stay. The hotel is dated, from the outside looks more like an 80's office building and our small room was generally of poor condition and... More

My husband and I stayed one night at the Radisson Blu Saga before a trip around the Ring Road. Our flight to Iceland was canceled so we had to shift our reservation by one day at the last minute. Radisson was able to accommodate our reservation and keep my request for a quiet room. They also allowed us to check... More

Hotel in good position not far to walk to Town. Lovely Bakery just around corner for quick snack or get some bread etc Hotel Staff beyond reproach solved a couple of tricky problems not of our doing. Very apologetic at some of the problems due to them(wrong rooms booked etc) Would stay there again and recommend to anybody. Rooms clean... More

The Radisson saga is a good place to stay for a good price. Not as centrally located as some other hotels, for instance the Radisson 1919, but still any things are within walking distance. Breakfast is good, rooms are spacious and beds comfy, so totally a recommended place.

Just got back from a 3 night stay. As many people have said the staff are fantastic but the hotel needs a bit of TLC. The shower was poor at best. The beds and the rest of the room itself were fine however. The gym isn't really a gym, it has a smith machine, a few other machines and dumbbells... More

This extremely busy hotel, with people coming & going, does look a bit tired round it edges and in need of bit of upgrade. However the staff’s friendly and welcoming approach makes up for this. Ingrunn at the front desk, amazing thank you. The breakfast is amazing, I suggest you try the freshly made juices. Wonderful array of choices for... More
