We spent two nights here in August 2015 and found it to be a bit offhand in regard to service and the rooms were showing signs of wear. Our room had more space than what is normal in Europe but as I say the hotel needs a refurbishment. The location is not too bad as we could easily walk to... More

We stayed here for two nights before we started our ring road adventure and another two nights when we returned from our trip around Iceland. The first two nights we stayed in a normal room, and the last two we were in a business class room that included the "free" breakfast which was excellent. All four nights were also on... More

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Sage twice during our holiday in Iceland and Greenland. We stayed there at the beginning of the holiday and on returning from Greenland. It is a big hotel with over 200 rooms. It is away from the city centre and takes about 15 minutes to walk into town centre. The rooms and bathrooms we... More

It's at least a 20 minute walk into downtown from the hotel, which is isolated between a roundabout and a building site. We found staff to be helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet is plentiful and very good. But the hotel mainly caters for tour groups and cruise ships - in other words, one-nighters. It's one of the scruffiest... More

Hotel Blu Saga is comfortable. The room for 2 adults and 2 kids on cots was spacious, and comfortable but looks well used. The black out curtains were somewhat off their tracks, it reminds me of a hotel room in the late 80's. There is a free buffet breakfast that is not bad. We walked from the tall church on top... It is a good hotel. Although it looked a little tired, the room we had was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were also friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel is not quite in the city centre, but is certainly within walking distance. We will happily return when visiting Reykjavik again.

Stayed here two nights for business. It is located somewhat outside of the centre of Reykjavik, making it a 15-20 minute walk to the centre. It is across the road from the university of Iceland. It is also close to the domestic airport of Reykjavik, so you can hear the noise of planes if you have the window open. The... More

We stayed at this hotel twice on our trip through Iceland. Let's start with the good stuff - service was very good; food in the restaurant was also good, staff were pleasant & accommodating. There was also 'happy hour' in the bar. There was some disappointment with the rooms however. The first room we had upon arrival was very nice... More

We arrived very late and very tired but our rooms were ready with children's beds set up as requested. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff was responsive and professional. It is in a good central location and easy to walk all over town.

First of all the receptionist people are out standing.....friendly and very helpful. The facilities were dated, worn, and drab. Room had a musty smell....front desk gave us no solutions for that problem. Carpet was stained, bathroom dated as is the room decor. Bed was comfortable. Shower water had a strong strange smell. Great view of harbor and city from our... More
