Although the lobby of the hotel promises more, the rooms do not deliver. More Motel 6 than Radisson, my room was very spare and more than a bit depressing. The water pressure was poor and the lights dim (Americans, don't forget to bring a top sheet!). The buffet breakfast was a plus - very generous and mostly good - and... More

I've stayed in Radisson Blu hotels three times before and so I think I know the standard I could expect. The hotel was poor and in serious need of good maintenance, let alone full refurbishment. One of the lights in my room didn't work and the shower could only produce hot water, as it had failed. The remote on the... More

Our room had the wonderful view of the front of the hotel but the back is equally as nice. The breakfast,( that came with the room booking) was incredible. 4-3 choices of smoothies each day ( all great) Fresh salmon, pastries, different breads, fruit, cereal, yogarts etc etc more like Brunch + Location is a good walk to the downtown... Stayed here two different times at the start and end of the tour. Each time had a different floor and room but the rooms were nicely appointed. Only difficulty I and others had were the beds which consisted of two singles shoved together. Definitely not used to that in the USA nor were others from other countries.

Stayed in this hotel at beginning and end of our holiday. The evening buffet provided excellent choice as did breakfast. Had a take away coffee and snacks in reception area. The sandwiches were freshly made and excellent. Rooms good size with kettle and excellent coffee machine as well as hair dryer and room safe. It doesn't get dark in May... More

I stayed here on business in March. There was a bit of a mix up over my room when I arrived which, despite being not of the hotel's making, they fixed with swift charm in no time. My room was sizeable and clean. I ordered room service and was near naked when it came - I thought I'd have time... More

There are two Radisson hotels in Reykjavik – Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel which is right in downtown Reykjavik - and Radisson Blu Saga Saga Hotel, which is about 1.7 km from the former. I stayed in the Saga Hotel, which is about 2.4 km from Reykjavik airport or 7 minutes by car. It is located just more than one km... More

ideally placed for a short walk into the centre of Reykjavik. The rooms were quite large and had comfortable beds and a lovely large bathroom. there was a room safe, hair dryer, which was very useful. Also a hospitality tray in the room was very welcoming. some of the furniture was worn and probably required updating. the evening buffet was... More

Average hotel at above average price. This was probably a great place 25 years ago but it hasn't moved on. The breakfast was mediocre and luke warm - it's well worth the walk to Cafe Paris for brunch before 11:00am.

My wife and I stayed in a business class room for three nights and were very satisfied with the staff and the room. The rooms had beautiful hardwood floors with very comfortable beds with a a nice view of Reykjavik. Despite 21 hours of daylight, we were able to get a great nights sleep. The breakfast was served until 10:30... More
