I stayed at the Radisson Blu Saga about a month ago with 3 friends while visiting Iceland. The customer service here is top notch, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. My friends and I would like to personally thank Baldur at the front desk for his help while staying there. We misread our Northern Lights Excursion instructions and missed the... More

An enjoyable stay to start off married life. The staff at the hotel were all pleasant to a person. Our room was on the 6th floor looking down towards the town. The room looked a little tired in places but overall we were extremely pleased, especially the complementary fizz and strawberries. Breakfast catered for all tastes and even at its... More

We travelled with a tour group to Reykjavik and our stay at the Radisson Saga helped make the trip the once in a lifetime experience we hoped for. The breakfast offered so many choices that there is sure to be something for everyone. The front desk staff were helpful, accommodating, personable, and knowledgeable. We off-handedly mentioned that we weren't expecting... More

we spent 6 nights here and really enjoyed it - ok, its a bit tired in places and perhaps not the sleekest an newest of buildings, but it does everything you need it to and does it very well. the staff are brilliant, the facilities are good and the breakfast is brilliant ! location is quiet too - which is... We had large rooms and very comfortable beds. It is on the edge of Reykjavik, about a 20 min. walk downtown. We found the staff helpful with our excursion plans. The breakfast is amazing - lots of hot and cold selections. There is a fine dining restaurant overlooking the city on the top floor and buffet lunches and dinners on... More

By far the best part of a stay here are the lovely bed and the wonderful breakfast buffet. The hotel itself is dated and could do with some tender loving care. The staff were largely very helpful (I had some dodgy milk in my room and within a few minutes of calling them, I had some replacements). I found the... More

I'm a Club Carlson Gold-member but apparently that doesnt mean anything because I didnt get any benefits. No early check in and we waited for 1,5 hours at the reception until our room was ready. Asked if it was possible to check out 1,5 hours late and yes, no problem. But at the check out date they called us on... More

This hotel is a bit tired. The rooms show their wear and are reasonably clean, but definitely not spotless. The location is decent (it's on one of Reykjavik's numerous traffic circles) and is easy to find.

The check in process was quick and painless. There was free wifi in every room and tv with video on demand. Free breakfast in the morning and a gym with a spa. With a quick jaunt to the city centre this hotel is a must stay.

We stayed here back in February for a long weekend with my fiance's parents and yes its a little walk into town, but isnt that the best way to explore and see things? It wasnt too strenuous and im not what i would call 'really fit'. The rooms were comfortable and clean with tea making facilities and we had a... More
