- The hotel was located close to center & easy to find parking places. - The breakfast was very good & the staff were friendly. The rooms were warm but very very old. - The beds were terrible & uncomfortable. - The fridge in the room was not working the whole 4 days we were there despite reminding them daily.... More

A little too far out of the centre to walk, but 1500 isk taxi drive. I was a shocked at the size of the beds in the twin room, being very narrow, but I had three good nights of sleep. The rooms were small, but very adequate. The breakfasts were a help yourself style, and had just about everything that... More

We stayed here from 9-11 December 2015 to celebrate my wife's 50th Birthday and could not have been treated any better. Immediately we checked-in we were informed we were being upgraded to a suite and the receptionist wished my wife a happy birthday without being prompted - this really made my wife feel special and not simply a "number". Ok,... More

Stayed here for a week on business. The hotel was clean and friendly. Some of the fixtures are a little dated and some things like the carpet and ceilings could be updated, but overall in good shape. The bed was very comfortable, my sleep was interrupted by someone who found the large circle out front of the hotel a good... More

We had great stay at here in November 2014. The beds were comfortable, the room was a good size and the staff were marvellous. They went out of their way to heat up last nights pizza when we were left with only 30 minutes between that day's bus trip and an unexpected evening trip when the previous evening's Northern Lights... Hotel - Everything very good including staff and room size. The food in the Breakfast room was fantastic. The food in the buffet restaurant was also fantastic for variety, only one small negative the meat from the carvery was never hot. Tours - We went on 3 Gray tours; Circle Tour, Northern Lights and Blue Lagoon and all were very... More

We stayed here on the 7th - 11th December 2014 Location At first we thought we were quite out of the city centre once our coach dropped us off, however don't let this put you off! It is literally a 20 minute leisurely stroll to the centre of the city, if I read 20 min walk I would think that's... More

We arrived in snow and high winds, such that our first day we were advised by hotel staff not to venture outside and our trip to golden circle was cancelled due to road closures, but we did manage to walk (slowly and carefully!) into town. Hotel was very comfortable, room quite big with big bed and two armchairs, lovely views.... More

this hotel is a bit tired and is 10 minutes walk outside Reykjavik but overall is very good. Breakfast varied and good. Happy hour at the bar 4:00-6:00 is good. Weekends has live music, not brilliant but okay. Only real issue is all tours start and end at this hotel. Not hotels fault but if you book it and book... More
