Great location if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk to the City Center. Staff were extremely helpful and easy to access. The lobby area and dining area were nice, but the furnishings in the room were definitely a bit dated, but functional. Housekeeping staff did a great job in keeping our room clean. Did not spend too much time... More

The title says it all. If location was smack in centreI would have given it 5 stars. 15 min walk to centre. Food is fantastic. Staff excellent. Rooms were spacious and view was above average - you could see mountains past parking lot and buildings.

Although the hotel was built in the 70s it felt more retro than tired as the decor had been refreshed and the room very comfortable and modern. We stayed in a twin the beds were a good size and very comfortable, we had great robes towels and toiletries with excellent shower power. Breakfast was buffet style with an enormous selection... Perfect location and was fine for what we need a comfy warm bed to sleep in after a long day sightseeing. Hotel dated and of need of a refurb. Breakfast offering good even reindeer meatballs !!! But the room breakfast was in was like being transported to the 70's. Served a purpose but quality didn't reflect in the price. If... More

Title sounds a bit disingenuous but the fabric of the building does let it down. Potential is good and is an easy walk to downtown. Staff (when you find them) are helpful. Due to volume of turnover they can barely cope at times. Rooms are clean but scruffy along with corridors etc. Windows need replacing, black-out drapes poor fit, mould... More

We were on the seventh floor and the room was good, modern and clean. We did not eat in the 'posh' restaurant on the eighth floor as the menu didn't appeal and was pricey. Happy 'hour' from 16.00 until 19.00 prompted us to eat in the bar where there was only a limited menu but we also used the restaurant... More

Hotel good in parts, the public areas are fine but the rooms are very tired and dated, they could do with a lick of paint and new grouting in bathrooms. Carpets in corridors to room needs replaced or shampooed. We had booked a triple room but this is not what was given, it was a double room with a put... More

This is a reasonable hotel for a business trip, but no more than that. Rooms are comfortable, but need to be refurbished. Internet is free and ok, though coverage varies. Staff is friendly, but not always too efficient. Sleep is fine, the view is great, so if all that you want is a place to relax and expectations are not... More

Hotel is a typical Radisson hotel. As normal for Iceland, everything is expensive. Room was clean and warm but the hotel is a little noisy (wooden floors in the room and we could hear the people above us moving about). It is also a 15minute walk to the CBD - this is fine if the weather is good. Staff were... More

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend vacation. Had a double room at the 7th floor. Clean room and a wonderful view from my window. The room and the hotel itself is a bit worn. Probably needs some fixing up and painting. Still quite classy. It bit far from the city centre; if you are not too happy with a... More
