We (2 adults one 10-yr old) stayed for one night. allthough it seem pretty old the stay was nice. The room was large, with a very good bed and nice harbor view. Foulding bed for the kid was fine. Staff was helpfull and friendly. The included breakfst buffet was THE BEST! Great selection. It seems that its no longer Raddison... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We spent 5 nights and found the Park Inn to be a good place to base our excursions around Iceland. Nothing fancy about this hotel, but its a good place to sleep. I will second what other travelers have said about needing a car. It is a good distance from the downtown... More

We had stained sheets and had noticed dirt in the room on our arrival and it remained untouched for the entire 5 day stay. Even the windows were disgusting. We mentioned this to the front desk and they seemed concerned but nothing was done to step up the effort. Besides the cleanliness issue, the room was large, the price was... More

If you have a car it is a perfect place to stay. Becouse it is a little far from the center (4 km.)Large rooms, beatiful view, friendly&helpfull staff, good breakfast. I stay with my club carlsson points but I think it offers good prize for Reykjavik.

I'd stayed one night at Park Inn Island hotel just because Hilton was fully booked on that night. Of course, it can't be compared to Hilton. The room rate is quite reasonable and simple breakfast is included at the small restaurant located next to the reception. All the staff are polite and helpful. The room that I'd stayed had harbour... In the summer Iceland ,it is not easy to find a hotel like this, the price is arround 200 Euro /room, The room is bigger and service is excellent. It is not so close to the Center, but close to the famous swimming pool, which is good for family ,etc.

This was an excellent choice for me staying on points - it was the lowest level point value wtih Carlson hotels. PROS: incredible full breakfast buffet - a rarity for Iceland. With the cost of meals in Iceland, that makes this property a great deal, as that a breakfast of the caliber of the one they serve would be $20... More

This hotel has to be recent acquisition by rezidor sas group - it is somewhat more upscale than traditional park inn, and they still have some plates in restaurant with "Hotel Island" brand so it has to be what this hotel was before joining Radisson. The hotel itself is located off centre of Reykjavik and if you plan to visit... More

I am a regular guest and I frequent this hotel several times a year for business and I felt it's about time to write something here. A nice cozy hotel and pretty much what I would expect from a small 3 star hotel. The hotel has some wonderful staff. Reception staff are warm and helpful. Always eager to help. Breakfast... More

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Basically we were looking for the least expensive decent bed and breakfast option within walking distance from the centre and that's what we got. The room was large and had a nice view to the sea and mountains - if you looked between the office buildings. We had a twin room instead of... More
