This hotel provides good value for the money but if you're used to more spacious rooms this may not be the place for you. Hoever, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is safe (as everywhere seems to be in Iceland) and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Breakfast is included in the room price and... Solid three star, moderate hotel on the edge of the Interesting District and across the street from the city's #3 Trip Advisor rated restaurant (Resto). Some rooms are a bit small but overall modern and recently refurbished. Breakfast is typical Foss Hotel chain with muffins and a couple of hot items, both of which are sorely lacking from most other... More

I'm a real fan of luxury hotels, so was a bit sceptical staying at this hotel, but it was so lovely to stay in. The room was small but forever clean. The cleanliness was really exceptional. Having an all you can eat breakfast every morning, is also great. I fell in love with the waffle machine, and the choice of... More

We arrived at midday and were meet by a not very hospitable girl in reception that informed us that check-in was first at four o’clock. At four o’clock, she was more forthcoming and we got our room key. The room was small and bare, a bed, a small table, a closet by the door, and the smallest TV we have... More

We were booked to BW Reykjavik and as we arrive after 1 am we were told the hotel is full booked and we were moved to the Fosshotel that is a block away so we needed to walk with our luggage all the way as our transportation left us at the BW hotel. The reception agent were very polite and... More

Functional hotel in the center of Rejkyavik, rooms are small but clean. Restaurant is good, service is friendly, but has little training so everything is a little approximate. The overall evaluation is standard quality.

We stayed 3 nights at Fosshotel Lind - it's a basic 3 star so do not expect anything more! The room was small but clean, the ensuite was miniscule. However location was good, close to the main shopping street of Laugevagur. Breakfast we also enjoyed, fresh fruit, coffee and a waffle maker (along with cereals and a small cooked breakfast).... Came here after driving down from the airport and on arrival we could park our car in their car park safely and securely. The receptionist was kind and helped us with our booking for the northern lights tour. The room was small but addiquite for what you need as its for sleeping in and that's about all. Rear location and... More

I think the people who work at Fosshotel Lind are very nice and do a very good job. The Hotel is in a good location since you can walk to the main shopping area. We really enjoyed our trip to Iceland and would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure.

Very clean comfortable hotel, rooms not massive but big enough for a few nights. Tea and coffee available in room. Centrally located and took approx 20 minutes to walk to the docks for the whale watching trips, just located near to the main shopping street. Breakfast was adequate but only had cold buffet style menu. I found other guest noise... More
