Nicest room we had in Iceland. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We booked a room with one queen bed, and had a young child which we intended to have sleep in the bed with us. They stated that the policy was children under 12 stay for free so they upgraded us to a room with an additional twin... More

We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beds very comfortable, room had everything you need. Bathroom could have been bigger but intelligently laid out. Breakfast was excellent. Great restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, and location nice and quiet, For a 3 star hotel couldn't fault it.

The room was tiny however, we picked it because of the free parking. It is nicely located but at the far end of the shopping street. We had to choose between the coffee pot or the TV as there was only one plug for the two items. Wi fi was intermittent. Our companion couple had to sit out in the... More

I had a great stay at the Fosshotel Lind. They couldn't seem to find my reservation in their system but that was no problem at all. They gave me the key to my room so I could unpack while they fixed the problem. Great personel. Overal super friendly. Room was clean, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Everything... More

We stayed here for 2 nights with a photo group. The location is a 10 min walk from the busy main street. The rooms are a little used but clean. Our shower leaked under the door wetting the floor. Our friends for the most part had either no door to the shower or 1/2 a door. The staff is pleasant... More

This hotel is the best kept secret in Reykjavic. It is clean, light and airy. The Reception manager, Estanis and his staff are brilliant. Ask them any question and they will find you the answer. They advised on excursions. They booked excursions at brochure prices, telephoned to check if whale watching was on and checked re pick up times for... More

Stayed here in May for 4 nights. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and the hotel is close to the city centre. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, and it was a plus that it was included in the price of the room as dining in Iceland is expensive compared to North American prices. The... More

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Reykjavik has many small hotels and not many large chains. This hotel was ideal, near bus routes and you can easily walk to the city centre and Harpa Concert Hall from the hotel. The Kjarvalsstadir Art Museum and Hallgrimskirkja Cathedral are just down the road. The Reception were very helpful and assisted with... More

We stayed at the Fosshotel Lind for our last night in Iceland after traveling around the Ring Road in a Happy Campers van. The room is very nice, clean, looks very Scandinavian, and is within walking distance of many sights in Reykjavik, including the Sun Voyager sculpture, the Harpa Concert Hall, and the beautiful Hallgrímskirkja Church. All was well until... More
