Hotel functional and very close to the center of Reykjavik. Clean, bright and spacious room with a comfortable bed. The facilities are very quiet so no surprises by night noises. Staff helpful and friendly, always smiling and trying to help you with any information required. Good and plentiful breakfast although it might be necessary to introduce something different every day... More

This was our first visit to Iceland and this was the ideal choice of hotel. Situated about five minutes walk from the main shopping and restaurant area, the hotel is very good. We were made to feel welcome during the whole of our stay. The reception staff were always very pleasant and so very helpful, with advice and guidance concerning... More

Stayed here in 2011 and now in july 2014. The Hotel is still lovely. The breakfast is very good. There is a good selection of cheese, meats, bread, croissant, juice, cereals and fruits. We had free wifi in the room. Also I would like to thank the receptionist (I'm sorry but I dont know his name) who work in the... More

Friendly helpful receptionist. Clean comfortable room if tiny and a tad overcrowded with furniture. Good hot shower, natch, it's Iceland. Good choice of foods at breakfast. Nice breakfast room although too tiny at rush hour. Safe a good feature and free WiFi much appreciated. Minutes from centre of city on foot. All in all, it ticked all the boxes for... More

We spent two nights at the hotel. Our room was nice - a lofted sleeping area and a lower level sitting space with sofa. The breakfast was a good start to each day and staff made sure we had an early one when we let them know we had an early flight. The desk staff are amazing - especially want... More

For a reasonably priced hotel with great service, close enough to easily walk to the centre of Reykjavik and yet far enough away to avoid the noisy night-life, the Best Western can totally be recommended. Throw in free WiFi and buffet breakfast and it's a gem, all be it a slightly dated one. The only problem I found was a... More

The hotel shows signs of some wear and tear, but the receptionists were helpful and friendly. The room (double room) was quite spacious, with two beds put together. The bathroom not very impressive, but clean and could do for a couple of nights. The breakfast was plain, but met our need to have something to eat first thing in the... More

The hotel is just out of the city centre area however Reykjavik is a small city compared to other capital cities across Europe so it was a nice 20 minute stroll into the heart of Reykjavik.
