This hotel is in a good location, it is only a 5 minute walk to the main high street. The hotel itself is clean, quiet and the rooms are quite comfortable. I am glad to say they have decent pillows, reasonably firm, not these feather things that you put your head on and the pillow disappears into the bed. The... More

My daughter and I arrived at this hotel last week at about 9pm having been delayed by a snow storm. When we arrived, we were advised by the Receptionist that the hotel was overbooked and that Reykjavik was incredibly busy presently and that he had arranged for us to be taken to another hotel. I asked where this was was... More

Hotel was very good - staff extremely helpful and good location - 5/10 minutes walk to centre of Reykjavik. Good selection of food for breakfast. Good size rooms which were lovely and warm even through storm with snow and ice.

I booked this hotel more on price and location and i wasn't disappointed. Clean well kept hotel with friendly helpful staff. When my wife and i go away we don't want spa,s or faffing around. All we are looking for is somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep and a good breakfast and we found all this at the Best Western. Very... More

We picked this hotel because the price was reasonable and it included free breakfast. If you've never been to Iceland, free breakfast is a great feature because the price of food is shocking. We had a nice room with a sitting room and a spiral staircase up to the bedroom. The breakfast was good but very european (cold cuts and... More

I like to support Best Western hotels as they're all ran independently. This one was well run, clean spacious rooms, basic but everything you need. Hopefully you'll be out during the daytime so you don't need plush luxury spa hotels, just somewhere to get your head down at night. Beds comfy, clean towels and all the toiletries you need. Continental... More

This hotel was very clean, well kept, with knowledgeable staff. Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless. Just a few blocks away from the main shopping street. Excellent breakfast buffet. Wifi was not terribly reliable.

We were here for my wife's 50th birthday, 16-20 February 2015 and this hotel suited us perfectly. Whilst not a grand or plush hotel, we were upgraded to a (ground floor) 'character room' in a part of the hotel building extended into the neighbouring former brewery. The room was quirky, retaining features of its original purpose, with sections of bare... More

We came to this hotel in a Reykjavik to hopefully see the Northern Lights for our first anniversary. First impressions when you come into the lobby is feelings of a basic hotel. The receptionist was friendly enough but as we experienced works very long hours. I emailed the hotel asking for a character room as preferred the look of them,... More

The reseption works as an tourist information. Should have had bether numbers of staff in reseption! In hectic periods. But the man on the nightshift does a very good job! Bad cleaning of rooms. Very cold bathroom - no heating there. Very loud through walls. Very nice indoor parking. Not many channels on tv. Breakfast ok.
