Iceland is a great place especially for out door activities your hotel should be the last thing to worry about , although when there over Easter a lot of attractions shopping etc close and you rely on a hotel with facilities , this hotel hadn't anything to keep you amused , tv channels 3 or 4 with bad reception ,... Ordered on December 24th for Easter 2014 on the basis of feedback on the hotel and it was centrally located with possibility of parking . When we were entering the plane to Iceland , we were told that we were rebooked , as it had overbokket . When we arrived at the hotel we found that it was our problem... More

We stayed here late March for a short break. Excellent reception staff, lovely breakfast and clean room with free wi-fi and fridge. Rooms a bit small but do the job. Tip - buy fresh milk in the shop as powdered creamer provided which doesn't suit us Brits. TV signal poor, but we were out quite a bit, so didn't matter... More

We stayed 3 nights in a double bed room. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable and friendly. The location was very convenient to the center of Reykjavik but in a fairly quiet area. The breakfast that was included in our package was great with meats, cheeses, skyr, cereals and fabulous herring. Would definitely recommend... More

Location is walking distance to town. The rooms are small, but typical and very clean. Considering the price of food in Reykjavik, the breakfast was especially appreciated..Common area on our floor was convenient for socializing--nice big window for good light.

We had booked transfers from the airport, which was sensible, as I'm not sure we would have been able to find our hotel otherwise. Check in was very efficient, which we were glad of as we had been travelling for 9 hours. The twin bedroom we had been allocated was disabilty -friendly, with grab rails, walk in shower etc. The... I was here in mid-March 2014 for only 3 nights. Our TV didn't work, but to be honest no time to watch it. Breakfast was adequate, room was nicer than what I'd just left in New York City. Thora at the front desk was extremely helpful with her dinner suggestions and tour advice. We walked to the harbor, shopping and... More

I stayed here for 7 nights in March 2014. The staff was extremely supportive and spoke excellent English. The room was very clean and well cared for. Breakfast was unusually good with fish, eggs, cereal, fruit, cucumbers, and tomatoes. The two main staff people I worked with were Reynir and Dora. They appeared eager to answer all questions and arrange... More
