this accommodation is definitely worth a look. The owner was very friendly throughout our stay and would discretely ask how we were getting on. The rooms are very clean and she left it a little surprise at our bedside on arrival. There isn't breakfast but there is a great kitchen to cook in and she also keeps a certain supply... More

We stayed here for two nights last weekend while in Reykjavik. The welcome we received was second to none and the excellent service continued throughout our stay. The townhouse is a beautiful property situated in a residential street within a pleasant walking distance of the city centre. We didn't want to leave - it was so good. Spent all of... More

It's a lovely place with a very friendly owner. Only three doublerooms share a bath and a nice kitchen. It was very clean and comfortable, we felt at home. Guests should buy own food, but everyday the owner placed some cookies and coffee in the kitchen.

I just spent 5 nights at Town House guesthouse in Reykjavik and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's located in a quiet residential area, within walking distance of downtown. There are shops and restaurants within 10 minutes of the property. Harpa, the owner, is incredibly helpful and answered all my questions and made many day trip reservations for me. I couldn't have... My wife and I are very experienced travelers as well as being professionals working in a public relations environment. I can honestly say the accommodation & service here is flawless. The kitchen was well stocked, the location very convenient but the best thing was the service. Harpa and her son were unendingly helpful, the whole place is spotless and i... More

I used this location as base for my dives in Silfra, and to explore downtown Reykjavik, and it was a very good choice! It is a family run establishment, and Harpa, the landlady is very kind and welcoming. After I arrived, she even offered me a drive (with sightseeing!) to the center, with clear instruction on how to walk back.... More

I am going to miss living in this cozy wonderful family run town house. I will miss the friendly and kind atmosphere, which the landlady Harpa radiates. I will miss going to the biggest swimming pool in Iceland just across the street, the icelandic ice cream shop next door, and I will miss walking in the beautiful park near by.... More

I stayed in the Town House for a week in August 2012. It was clean and quiet, a short walk from downtown and only a few steps from the pools and spa at Laugar World Class. Harpa and her family were very helpful in guiding me to where I needed to be, as it was my first time in Iceland.... More

Whilst on business in Reykjavik I decided to extend my trip by one day to do a little sightseeing and booked into the Town House for one night. There’s one word to describe this accommodation experience and that is awful! I booked a double ensuite room with single occupancy and I got a twin room with a shared bathroom. The... More

This is a very nice, simple, small guesthouse run by an absolutely lovely woman, Harpa. I stayed for two nights before traveling elsewhere in Iceland. My single room was large and bright, with two beds (shared bathroom). Harpa was extremely kind and helpful (told me to just knock on her door downstairs where she and her family live if I... More
