This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We reserved a one-bedroom guest room and received a free upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment, just for the two of us. The guest house has old charm (I think it was built in the early 1900s) with modern comforts. The apartment came with many movie channels, good wifi connection, free coffee/tea/cereal/milk, washer/dryer, full kitchen... More

We had a terrific experience at this hotel. Staff is super friendly. The street is quiet (this is important - Reykjavik is a party town). The location is superb - an easy walk to the harbor, to the town center, to local attractions. The room was spotless and comfortable. Although cold outside, the heat was just right. Small kitchenette was... More

We booked a studio for a 2-night stay. However, upon arrival, we were told that our booking was not in their system. I showed them the email I got from them (with the booking confirmation number etc) and after 5 minutes was given a 3-bedroom apartment upgrade! The apartment is located in a great area, very central - close to... More

We stayed in a room in the basement and it was warm, cosy and clean. The hotel is in a great location, central to the main shopping street and plenty of restaurants. The staff were excellent, during our 5 day stay there was a different staff member on reception each day and everyone of them was extremely helpful, booking trips... More

We reserved a studio for the two of us for 5 days. When we got there we got upgraded to a full blown apartment in the back street, where there was no traffic. It was a lovely apartment with everything in you need. Also for once all the kitchen supplies so you can actually cook something. It was quiet as... More

Loved this accommodation!! Very central, lovely and cosy room- good size. Breakfast tray was fantastic and did lunches also! The fresh bread in the morning was wholemeal and we asked twice for white instead but never got it which was disappointment as it never got eaten. Friendly helpful staff. My only tiny complaints were in the bathroom- window is next... More

Stayed as group of five in a two bed apartment. Could not fault the place. Incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, large rooms. Staff were excellent and efficient (no problem letting us when we'd drunkenly lost our key!). Location couldn't be better, literally one street off the main nightlife and shops. The daily breakfast was massive, with fresh bread delivered each morning,... More

stayed here for 5 days last week (may 2015). The experience was perfect. Communications by email were quickly answered. THey helped us with advice how to get from Keflavik airport to the hotel. We also were arriving at 0400 and would get into Reykjavik at 0600 and they were fine with making sure we knew someone would be there. We... More

We had a lovely junior suite (Booked this hotel on the basis of other TripAdvisor reviews) and ordered breakfast, which they delivered the day prior in the fridge. The rooms are clean and well appointed. It was like having a studio apartment -which worked well as we could make our own coffee, tea and had a fridge. A loaf of... More

The only negative I can share about this place is that we only stayed one night. The young woman who checked us in, (Delia?) was very friendly and patiently answered all of our questions about where to go, what to see where to eat (Vegemot!), informed us that we had been upgraded to a 2 BR apartment, and escorted us...
