You need a car for this place. The supermarket isn't walking distance and just found the place quite strange. Long way from the centre of town so nice and quiet. Host is very friendly. Coffee machine was good but wouldn't stay here again.

We stopped here for one night before heading to the airport, its basically a huge house that has been divided up into a number of rooms. The lady that runs it is really friendly. Location was quite good for us, its not signposted very well as its in a residential housing area but our satnav took us straight there, about... More

Really excellent place to stay. Staff were very helpful and the rooms were both clean and tidy. A nice informal atmosphere about the place. Although the place was a little tricky to find it was a very quiet place to stay.

Not really easy to find in Reykjavik, this big house is divided in 4 parts. The kitchen well equiped is shared, but each part got is own bathroom. The room we booked was for 4 people : me, my wife, and my 2 daughters. My bed was large and comfortable. But my daughters slept in horrible sofa which let you... More

If you would like a full kitchen, don't mind sharing a bathroom with other travelers, and don't mind taking the bus into town, OR you have a car, then this may be the right place for you. They also have a washer and dryer, but you are not supposed to use it when people are sleeping at night. There is... More

We stayed one night (2 adults and 2 kids) on our way in. It is an old house converted into a guest house. So it is in a residential neighborhood, has a fully equipped kitchen, cosy common spaces and WiFi access. It is like staying as a guest in a stranger's house. It is not cheap (~200 Euros, or US... We stayed here on both our way in and also our way out of Iceland. It is on the airport side of the city, so both convenient for airport and city if you have a car which we did. Also, facilities were great, fully equipped kitchen and good common areas so saved money by cooking for family. Would stay here... More

Just on arrival I was greeted by two nice people, Sylwia and Piotr :) I was shown around the house and taken to my room, so warm and cosy. My trip was long and I was very tired but unfortunately I couldn't go to sleep straight away, coz the same day came the owner of the place, and I have... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Reykjavik Peace Center. Spacious room, clean and very comfortable. You feel really at home there with the several lounges, kitchen and a great library. There is a free wifi in the rooms and a guest computer with printer. The bus stops just a couple of minutes walk away with fast route the city... More
