We spent two nights at this wonderfully clean and well equipped apartment. The location is perfect - right downtown on the main street. We walked everywhere and had excellent restaurants at our fingertips. The manager Arnie was most welcoming and accommodating. He gave us many tips for enjoying the city in the little time that we had. He even made... More

My daughter and I opted to stay at an apartment as our favorite hotel in Reykjavik was fully booked. It was a good decision. When we first arrived at the building, located on the main shopping street, we were less than impressed. It's a weathered structure, as many of the buildings in Reykjavik tend to be due to climate wear... More

We stayed there for three night. It is very noisy outside te street. You can even hear someone laughing and yelling outside the street through the night. We were taking 17 hours flight and was expecting a good sleep in hotel but couldn't. If you are looking for good location for restaurant, bar and shopping, this hotel is the best... More

We stayed in the studio apartment which is essentially a converted garage. The apartment is huge with the bedroom on a split level. I would not recommend this for older or people with disabilities as the stairs to the bedroom are difficult to negotiate. The kitchen has a kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer, microwave and double plate cooking rings. Plates,... More

I'm writing this review as I'm laying in bed at this place. My husband and I got the stand-alone studio apartment and we LOVE it! We arrived on a late flight to Keflavik and Arnie (super nice) was waiting for us to check us in. Gave us a tour of the apartment, answered any questions, etc. It is super conveniently... More

We stayed here as a family for two nights in early April. We had the top floor apartment with two good sized bedrooms, lounge area with TV, kitchen/ diner and a bathroom. Owner met us at apartment. Free use of smartphone for Internet and local calls. Everything very clean and comfortable. TV shows British TV programmes. Apartment is located in... More

We were there last week. Excellent place to stay. Clean room, nice bed, plenty of space, BBC to watch while the wife keeps you waiting for her to get ready. Excellent rates versus small room hotels nearby. Right by the main street. A couple of hints. 1. Bravo bar---about 75 yards best happy hour, Drinks in Iceland are not cheap,... More

My boyfriend booked this hotel for my birthday for a long weekend in Reykjavik and the boy done well! The hotel is located in the main shopping street where the majority of bars and restaurants are. We arrived around 10:30pm and we called Arni the hotel owner to arrange to meet the keys. He came over straight away and took... More

Right in the centre of town with a big car park at the back. Good sized room with a kitchen with everything you'd need and an iPod dock. Host was very friendly and in addition to ok wifi they give you a mobile phone with internet access to use during your stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights in March. Apartments have ample off-street parking and a quick and efficient check-in procedure. They are located close (1 - 2 mins walk) to a number of good restaurants and bars. The landlord provides free use of a mobile phone which can be used for local calls or internet browsing. Free reliable wifi in... More
