The new owners Orvar & Margret are really trying hard to make a positive impact on this guesthouse and are extremely friendly and actually care, they are slowly refreshing the rooms with new decor which is great. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place central and close to all shops etc. Overall good, clean and convenient,... More

The name of this guesthouse has changed twice in the recent past, probably because the new owners, Örvar and Margrét, are making a good attempt to improve on its past Tripadvisor reputation. They are very friendly and want your stay to be good. Yes, there is noise from surrounding bars late on weekend nights, but that goes with the location.... More

I stayed at the Centric/Pisa Guesthouse recently and did not have a good experience. Although it's close to many attractions, the noise from the outside street and bars/nightclubs until 6am made it next to impossible to sleep, so be forewarned. Management was also not present and unresponsive, and never sent me an invoice, yet still charged my credit card two... More

This is a guesthouse located directly in the heart of the city. You are provided with linens and towels but there is no maid service daily. All major interest points are in walking distance. The owner will either meet you or have you stop in to the restaurant below to pick up your keys and passcode for the front door.... More

My friend and I stayed here for three nights, it was clean but very basic (with the tiniest towels ever - if you're long-haired like us, you'll need to ask for bigger ones!). The staff were obliging and friendly, although there's a weird set-up of having no reception as such - you just speak to the restaurant staff below the... More

Nice guesthouse right in the city center, next to the main street with restaurants and bus stop at a very reasonable price. Our room was neat with enough space (not cramped), with a cute cane decor, comfortable double bed, in room bathroom with good hot water pressure. They even gave you a kettle with tea & coffee packets to make... More

Firstly we did our bookings pretty late and Reykjavik was mostly booked due peak season. We were not getting anything near city centre and had to go for PISA Guesthouse which fits the bill best. Considering the facilities hotel is providing price was very high. Room was not bad but there was lot of noise whole night, it being in... More

We stayed at the Pisa Guesthouse just one night but we arrived just before midnight. The manager arranged for us to be able to get into our room which was clean and inexpensive. We met Ollie, the manager, the next morning and he was so helpful in caring for our luggage while we went sightseeing for a few hours before... More

The room I had at Pisa was not any of the ones you can see in their photos or video. Far from it. Spartan is a way of putting it. The window opened onto a roof where people took cigarette breaks and there was a loud lounge singer in the afternoon. In sum, it wasn't worth the money (twice what... More

The Pisa is in a great location, near the main shopping street, bars, restaurants and less than 15 min walk from the BSI coach station. It sits on a main road and is easy to find, above the Pisa pizza restaurant. However, I arrived on Easter Sunday and the place was deserted, all locked up. I was ready to book... More
