I had really enjoyed this place, so much that I booked in a second time. I was hoping to use Loki101 as my place of comfort whilst travelling through Iceland, but due to being overcharged (charged twice) and no action taken in terms of reimbursement I will not recommend this place or stay here again. Poor response to emails (for... More

Sometimes it happens that you can still be surprised regarding a guesthouse: Loki 101 Guesthouse in Reykjavik is such a place. It is only 100 m located from the famous Hallgrimskirkja. In 5 minutes time you are at the Laugavegur, the most popular shopping street. The guesthouse itself is very clean, has a nice balcony, and it serves a great... More

I stayed here for about 5 nights each time I stayed in Reykjavik. It is a simple, but comfortable guesthouse. I was in a single room and had a shared bathroom. The wifi worked well and the breakfast was nice. It was a few minutes walk to the centre of the city.

Ok, so I spent 4 nights here. Big pluses are the location right next to the big church, and the price. I was in a small single with an attached balcony at the back of the hose which was clean, but even with a blind and a curtain still an awful lot of light gets in, as I had a... More

The guesthouse is very close to city center. Its an older house that shows signs of use. The new owner had only had the place for a month when I was there, and they were working on making it more modern. Breakfast was decent and the staff was very friendly. The rooms was quite bright at night, as there were... More

Very authentic place with great islandic food, be sure to try their rye bread it´s delicious. From the first floor you have a nice view over the hallgrimskirkja. Perfect place for lunch in a cosy atmosphere with great and friendly service. Try some of the islandic delis, totally worth it.

The guesthouse is located just minutes away from Reykjavik's city centre, right next to the Hallgrimskirkja. The single room I stayed in was very simple but very clean with a comfortable bed. A breakfast with toast, spreads, cereals and coffee is offered to have a good start in the day. Loki 101 is a nice spot to stay when exploring... More

I stayed here for two nights in a single room when I first arrived in Reykjavik. The room was compact but didn't feel cramped, and very clean. The shared bathroom was good and didn't cause any hassles. Perfect location, wish I could give more stars, as not only is it easy to find your way back by looking for the... More

We stayed here for one night in a double room paying £60 in summer, the location I ideal for exploring Reykjavik– located directly opposite from the Hallgrímskirkja church which acts a good point of reference for getting your bearings. The guesthouse is located on a quiet residential street and we didn’t hear any noise, even from the church bells. It... More
