The outside of this apartment is certainly dismal and inside is an improvement but wouldn't stay here again. Very noisy building works which I would have appreciated knowing about beforehand. Comfortable bed was probably the only real plus. Apartment needs a makeover. Looks very rundown. There were glass splinters on the couch and it was covered in fluff. There was... More

The apartment is lovely, located very close to the city centre and near the ocean. The beds were very comfortable and all the basic utilities were provided. According the cost we paid for the apartment i am sure it is the set we could get.

We thought we had booked an apartment, but instead got a very small room in a basement with a view of a wall with graffiti. If you want to make breakfast from your bed, this is the place for you. This was more a hostel than a luxury apartment. The tv was comedy, 6 channels, 3 blank, one with no... More

First the positive things: * The hotel is nicely located close to the start of the main street. * The hotel manager kindly accepted to change our reservation only one week before our stay (but in exchange we got "downgraded" to semi-underground floor for one night during our stay) * Thinking the Reykjavik hotel prices, it was moderately priced Unfortunately... The outside makes you wonder but inside these apartments are spotless, compact, modern and well laid out with comfortable beds. We had a basement apartment which was small but included the kitchenette and was quite particularly over the weekend when I gather it can get noisy in the city. They are set back from the main street but close enough... More

I would have scored higher if there had been a little feed back via email as I was arriving quite late in the evening as mentioned on my booking and had no idea how to contact anyone on arrival, however someone happened to be leaving as I arrived and showed me my room key. The room was a little damp... More

After staying in a much nicer (and cheaper!) apartment with another company a few days earlier, we were let down by how beat up this place looked. Big stains on the couches, deep scratches in the floor, empty nails on the walls where someone had removed (stolen?) the decor, cracked windows "repaired" with duct tape. Add on top of that... More

Einholt apartment is rather nice place to stay. I was surprised by the system of check-in - indeed there is nobody at reception desk. If you booked an apartment - they leave a key and you are welcome. Room design is really attractive, especially I liked the bed, there is also a small kitchen inside the room with everything you... Our apartment was lovely! Two single beds in the bedroom and a sofabed in the lounge. It was more than big enough for four adults, with a full kitchen as well as dining table and chairs and breakfast bar! The location was ideal, close to the bus station and walking distance to laugavegur - the main street. It is a... More

Four of us stayed in the two bed apartment which was really clean, spacious and modern. It's conveniently located for the Main Street and waterfront. Previous comments about the look of the outside of the apartments looking tired are true but no issue once you get inside. Good value for money as well. One of party injured herself and the... More
