Stayed in a 2 bed. Very spacious, loads of storage, small kitchenette, wifi, balcony, good shower, comfy beds, clean, modern, nicely kitted out and freshly decorated. Most of all....fantastic location....5 mins walk from the main street yet still peaceful (until the construction workers started work on Monday). Definite recommendation I would certainly come back here! The lightbulb in our room... More

Easy to walk into Reykjavic, but having some work done , painting and odd jobs which the workmen didn't clear up after themselves so the corridors were dirty. Wifi slow and only one badly tuned channel on the TV

My husband and I recently stayed at Einholt Apartments for three nights during our vacation. We definitely experienced sticker shock in Reykjavik. The room cost about $200 USD a night, and it was tiny and half underground in the basement. In retrospect, I should have booked an apartment in lieu of a studio. Make sure when you are booking your... More

Arriving at Einholt Apartments was somewhat of a disappointment. The building looks quite unappealing from the outside, and we found our room in the basement. It was hardly an "apartment", rather a smaller-than-average hotel room, that including the kitchenette. The bathroom was so small, you nearly had to sit sideways on the toilet. The shower floor remained permanently wet and... More

For a night or two, this is fine. The staff was helpful and even did a load of our laundry but seemed odd to be asked to wash our own dishes and not get fresh towels. It's located on the far end of the main drag but not a bad walk. Rooms were a bit stuffy and the room was... More

We spent 4 days in this apartment. The location is really the biggest advantage, as you are only a few minutes away from the main pedestrian street. There are a few supermarket close-by. The apartment has a small kitchen which is really convenient. However, be careful as there is only a micro-wave, not an oven. The flat was not particularly... More

We stayed July 2014. We got a nice room. Good beds. OK kitchen facilities, and good internet connection. But there was quite a bit of noise from ouside since we had a room to the street on the ground floor. Easy access with car and free parking.

The outside of this apartment is certainly dismal and inside is an improvement but wouldn't stay here again. Very noisy building works which I would have appreciated knowing about beforehand. Comfortable bed was probably the only real plus. Apartment needs a makeover. Looks very rundown. There were glass splinters on the couch and it was covered in fluff. There was... More

The apartment is lovely, located very close to the city centre and near the ocean. The beds were very comfortable and all the basic utilities were provided. According the cost we paid for the apartment i am sure it is the set we could get.

We thought we had booked an apartment, but instead got a very small room in a basement with a view of a wall with graffiti. If you want to make breakfast from your bed, this is the place for you. This was more a hostel than a luxury apartment. The tv was comedy, 6 channels, 3 blank, one with no... More
