We stayed in the new apartment 138 and it was very spacious and comfortable. We were able to check in early, which was fantastic. The apartment has everything you need. For me, this was a "luxury" apartment because it was very spacious and the room service includes doing dishes, but it's not luxurious in the sense of posh. We were... More

We stayed for 3 nights in mid-June 2011. It has all the advantages of staying in a flat (privacy, fridge, space to relax) whilst still getting cleaning and freshly laundered towels. Turn left out the building, go 30metres, turn right and go 50metres downhill and you find yourself right by the Fishmarket (rather snazzy fish restaurant) and the start of... More

We stayed here for a full week in May. Enjoyed it so much more than a regular hotel. The size of the apartment was nice and comfortable. The access to a kitchen was great, we did cook a little bit. Our apartment had a porch which was fabulous. The location was perfect. In a cute neighborhood a 5 minute walk... More

We came to Iceland for a family reunion and decided to stay downtown to be close to everything. We wanted to try renting an apartment instead of staying in a hotel as we had never done this before. We stayed in apartment 110. Everything was handled very well from the internet booking to the nstructions on how to get into... More

We (two families with 5 children each) stayed a weekend at three apartments in the building (a large one and two small ones). The location in a quiet street, but only a few minutes from the center of town, was great. The apartments were very clean and fully equipped. The apartments were also decorated with paintings and sculptures (expecially the... More

We stayed in apartment 70. It is huge, beautifully furnished and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm and very comfortable. We were only in Reykjavik for a weekend and were so pleased we were so centrally situated. It was a walk of only a few minutes to get to a very helpful excursion company who give... More

We stayed at the Embassy Luxury apartments for 4 nights during our two-week trip to Iceland. Location Great location, not even a 5-minute walk to downtown Reykjavik. And at the same time, the street where it is located was very quiet, which we were very thankful for since we stayed during the very noisy (but fun) "Culture Night". Room/apartment Of... More

I stayed in apt#90 and it was spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent location and also on a residential street which reduces the amount of noise you hear on Saturday nights. Note that you may not be to get an early check-in if the room is in use the night before (common for a building with a small number of units... More
