My husband and I only stayed in Embassy Apartments one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in Apt #80 and had everything we needed - small kitchen with plenty of cooking equipment, clean bathroom, bedroom with small dining and sitting area, tv, etc. You can have access to the buildings 24 hours a day which... We arrived March 21 for five nights and the apartment was available early. It is less than a 5 min walk to the Centrum. The Russian and Canadian embassies are within 1 block which added to the feeling of a safe and secure area. Our apartment was fine (not luxurious but fine). We never heard a noise from anyone else... Amazingly spacious place to stay in, everything self catered, and very well equipped. A short walk brings one to Tjonin lake. We buzzed the doorbell of the main building, communicated with the reception via intercomm, and collected our envelope with our names and keys. Our room was the one facing the little garden. Metered parking on the street beside. Has... More

A group of 6 of us stayed here at the end of Feb 2012. This apartment was the perfect base from which to explore this amazing country. We got in very late (after midnight) and were let into our apartment straight away. The place was modern, clean and large, with a kitchen (coffee and tea supplied), bathroom, very large living... The apartment (70) is very spacious and well equipped. The bedrooms could benefit from some dressing tables or similar furniture. It has everything you will need for your stay but its best feature is its location; literally 2 minute’s walk from the centre of Reykjavik. We had two problems with equipment and both were fixed very quickly after a phone... More

This is a little gem in the city center of Reykjavik. For less than a traditional hotel room, we rented a one bedroom, studio apartment that was fully furnished. The location is just blocks away from the city center and around the corner from a shopping mart. Note: there is not a front desk to check in at. You are... More

Stayed for 3 nights in Apt 80 (the smallest). Great location, residential area but close to the city centre. One buzz and we’re let in with the keys on the cupboard. Apt 80 is a studio flat (ie. bedroom with living room together) with a separate shower/toilet and a kitchen. Clean and Tidy, well equipped – even provided with salt... More

First of all, I'm so glad you are considering visiting Iceland. You are going to LOVE IT. And, since you've stopped by here, you are also researching the Embassy Apartments, and if apartment living is your style, you should just book it and not think twice! We stayed 5 nights in apartment 138 over New Years. There were four adults... More

We recently returned from a weeks stay at the Embassy Apartments. I cannot recommend them enough. The locations is in the centre of Reykjavik surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops, but on a quiet street. The apartment (110) had everything you could ask for and was much better than a hotel room as you could spread out and allow clothes... More

Located on a quiet street yet only a few minutes walk from the centre of Reykjavik, these serviced apartments are perfect for a weekend or week long break. Our very generously spaced apartment (No. 100) was located on the first floor and had all mod cons including a dishwasher in the fully fitted kitchen and a very sweet little balcony.... More
