Due to it's proximity to the airport, the Icelandair Hotel in Keflavik is probably fine to position yourself for an early morning flight or if you have arrived on a late afternoon or evening flight. The hotel is very basic, but had everything we needed; a clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, friendly service, and good food. The bathrooms, however,... More

We stayed at this hotel de to missing our other Iceland air flight. The room felt very much like a college dorm but it served the purpose. They served us dinner and breakfast which were interesting to say the least. It was buffet style so we dining want to be too picky. We did have an option of pickled fish... More

We were put here after our flight was cancelled. It really feels like the minimum an airline could provide for when your flight is cancelled and if you had paid for it yourself / booked it as part oif your holiday I think you would be very disappointed. The rooms are very very basic and the bathrooms feel incredibly institutional.... More

I was here because a misunderstanding, I was supposed to spend two nights at Reykjavik because I lost my connection flight but the hotel was all booked. The staff is great, the place was spotless and the food was decent, I can't complain about anything so far, they had a Christmas party and the restaurant was closed, but I had... More

Stayed one night at this hotel - bed was very comfortable; bathroom was small but fit the bill. The breakfast here was very good with so much selection. Wi-fi only available in the lobby - not the bedrooms. Staff was great.

We had to stay at this hotel due to an emergency landing in Iceland from Italy-Toronto. While the hotel is not necessarily a luxury hotel - the service of the staff made up for it. Truly welcoming and helpful and incredibly organized. Handled the welcoming and organization of over 100 guests upon sudden entrance. Great breakfast that fed many, many... More

We were forced to stay at this terrible hotel by Icelandair since they made us miss our connecting flight. The hotel could not handle a busload of passengers arriving at the same time and it was completely chaotic at the reception and the receptionist seemed so lost and almost gave up. The room was horrible – so outdated, worn, torn... More

Stayed in this hotel because the airline forced us to miss a connection. We were provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as an overnight stay. The stay was less than pleasant due to the circumstances, but the lack of cleanliness and uninspiring food made it worse. The toilet till had feces stains, the bathroom floor was dirty and... More

I have choosen this hotel because arriving late and not willing to travel too far in strange place. Room was OK, interesting setup with the bed in the middle of the room. Other thing was broken window, through which the wind was blowing all night long - so I even had a free music...The last thing was restaurant, which was... More

We spent our last night in Iceland at the hotel. Thankfully it was only one night. The hotel proudly claims to be a 4-star hotel, but it is really a 3-star hotel with an attitude. The hotel has a very weird shape, and is comprised from several buildings. Our room (number 226) was located in the older building, which is... More
