Fantastic stay at Hotel Berg! We booked a single night's stay for straight off the plane. The place is wonderful. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, it is exactly what you need. The room is comfortable, clean, and there's free wi-fi available. Breakfast choices were plentiful and the dining area is just the right size. The views are lovely... More

Hotel Berg is one of the best places to stay while in Iceland. Conveniently located near the international airport (few miles), in the town of Keflavik, opposite a small harbour. Center of town within walking distance. Free airport transport provided if need. Hotel is family-run, has fifteen rooms all immaculately clean and with all amenities, although wifi was during our... Hotel Berg is only a 10 minute drive from Keflavik airport, so if you're coming in on the late flight from Heathrow, it's quick and easy to find and you'll get a warm welcome. The hotel overlooks the harbour, and has the feel of an upmarket ski lodge. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly - our... More

We were not disappointed by Hotel Berg. Everything was excellent. In June the prices go up, but we were lucky enough to stay there at the end of May, so this hotel turned out to be excellent value for money. The service was perfect, breakfast was good and the beds and the room were comfortable in every way.

Lovely, small, inexpensive hotel. Our room was tiny, but immaculate and fine for an overnight stay. Hotel has nice common areas with complimentary coffee and tea which offered an opportunity to visit with other guests, read, play games, etc. Hotel Berg was very convenient for our early morning flight. We dropped our luggage off early, and then returned our rental... More

We were sent here when our original hotel (the Hotel Keflavik, that we had booked and paid for in advance) had been overbooked. The atmosphere was so relaxed. We were allocated a loft suite (basically a living room with the bedroom up some stairs) - really well furnished and the owners were so very friendly. We were invited to help... More

I was delighted to find a place with a harbor view for my 1 night in transit in Keflavik. I arrived in late afternoon and successfully executed my plan to have a walk on the cliff above the hotel -- windy but beautiful -- and a nice seafood dinner, then take the bus to the Blue Lagoon in the morning... Outstanding! Beautiful, quite, comfy hotel with personal service. Stayed only for 1 night but next time I will for sure stay longer. The staff is extra friendly and the rooms are stylish with good beds. Perfect location, near to Keflavik airport.

We stayed here on our last night as we had an early flight home. We were reallocated to this hotel as our booked hotel couldn't accommodate us, however with the location and facilities offered at the Hotel Berg we were happy to transfer. The small and intimate nature of this hotel makes it feel like a home from home, with... More

The only regret about staying at this hotel was that we only had one night! I opted to pay extra for a suite and it was well worth it and still great value for money. The owners are friendly and helpful, and really go the extra mile to accommodate their guests' requirements. Their recommendation of eating at the Duus (just... More
