Touris arranged this accommodation for us and we were happy with their choice. The Asgardur is similar to a motel in North America. It is an older 2-storey guesthouse with no elevators. Not sure what the official definition of guesthouse versus hotel is in Iceland, but this was a two story hotel by American standards. There is not elevator to the second floor (typical for Iceland). This is more of a hotel than a guesthouse. The decor seems a bit dated, but it is very clean and well-kept. The beds were quite comfortable. Wifi is available in the common areas. The breakfast was excellent! Don't miss sunrise, the views of the glaciers and the sunrise over the harbour are stunning!
