We rented a top floor 3 bedroom apartment which had a large open plan living/ kitchen/dining area and spacious bathroom with shower (no bath). Nice to have a proper hair dryer, too! The beds are extremely comfortable with warm duvets, and despite the bitterly cold weather we were always warm We were very satisfied with all aspects of the accommodation,... More

My wife and I stayed here with two other friends and the room we reserved, I believe the largest one available. It was very nice, had a kitchen, a living room with a tv, a balcony and two separate bedrooms. I think we were on the 3rd level. The hostess (or owner) was very nice and hospitable. She was also... Really enjoyed this rental. The coffee machine was outstanding, grinding the beans and providing fresh coffee which we drank on the balcony overlooking the parking lot. Perfect for viewing daily life in Akureyri. An excellent ice cream shop is in the same building and an adjacent street has bakeries and fine shopping. The "old town" is nearby, providing an interesting... More

We stayed in these apartments four nights. They are very cozy, there is everything you need and more. The staff is very kind. It is a good base for tours to Lake Myvatn and its surroundings. Value for money in these apartments is very good. It is possible to recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to the area.

The entrance to this apartment is behind a cafe and up the stairs. By the door, there is an intercom to contact the owner. The owner arrived at the property within 5 minutes from our intercom conversation. She was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The apartment was clean and spacious with wooden floor. It has comfortable beds, puffy pillows, a... More

We stayed in one of the three bedroom apartments. It was beautiful and there was plenty of space to spread out -- a bright livingroom and a clean kitchen. Parking was easy. We were sorry we had reserved only one night here!

All was perfect. I would return here in my next trip to Akureyri. I felt like being at home. Well positioned in the center, with a parking slot right in front of it. My only concern/suggestion is that the curtains at the bedrooms windows should he much heavier to be able to cover the summer lights (there is only 2,30... More

The two large roof-top apartments were a perfect stay in Akureyri for our travelling group of 11 people. After a long day's trip on the road it was really nice to enter the newly renovated, clean and spacious apartments in the center of Akureyri. The rooms were really nice with comfortable beds. Outside the living room there is a balcony... More

This "hotel" is really about 5 or so apartment-like rooms on the second and third floors of a free standing building in the center of town. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Ours, Room 202 was a corner studio with balcony, kitchenette, dining table, large bed, reasonable bathroom, and terrace. There is flat screen television (but realize there is virtually... More
