Our GPS didn't find the address of the hotel as happened with many address input in English. We stay at the new wing at a plus room for 2 nights. The room is big enough include micro and refrigerator but no coffee maker and large closet an old tv with only one local station. There is a restaurant that serve... More

Breakfast super-good! Very good product and the staff very carefull... No wi-fi în the room, only în the lobby, and not very... More

we were here for three nights in July. We had an en suite room in the more modern part of the hotel and we're lucky enough to be allocated a top floor room. The view from this were fantastic. I couldn't fault the room. It was large with comfy beds, good closet space and a nice shower room. The wifi... More

Like many other travelers, we ended booking a room for two nights here simply because nothing else was available. Should we ever return to Akureyri and be in a similar situation, I think we will look for a small apartment. We were fully aware that this is a dorm during the school year and we also knew that we would... More

Like others, we got this hotel because the others were booked, not that there's a lot of choice in Akureyri. Pros: rooms are clean and well appointed and the staff is cheerful and helpful. Cons: the Internet is dead slow, especially at night, no hair dryers in the room, so bring one, and the hotel bar is basically a mini-bar... More

Clean, friendly, well-Situated just out of town and near excellent swimming pool complex. Great breakfasts, though can feel like college cafeteria, and very tiny rooms with minimal amenities in the old wing. Young, sweet staff eager to please. Very dormitory like.

We decided to stay in this hotel as all other hotels were occupied and we had a good experience even though Edda Akureyri operates only during the summer as the rest of the time it functions as a college dormitory. The room was clean, comfortably furnished and had a good view from the fifth floor. The staff was always friendly... More

Edda Alureyri operates only during the summer; the rest of the year it is a junior college. It is relatively inexpensive accommodation, the front desk is excellent and the Internet frequently doe not work that well. The rest of your experience will depend on your making a specific election in advance that costs an additional 6,000k. Dorm #1 is 3... More

Our room was clean. Staff was friendly. For a big hotel they were lacking in basic amenities- no in room coffee, no hair dryer, no shower soap. Wifi wa super slow and dropped you constantly. We spent 2 nights here and then moved over to the Saeluhus Akureyri as Edda was booked full for our final night. Saeluhus was so... More

The room was okay...I felt safe and it was clean, my 2 biggest concerns. Beds were single and unable to be pushed together. We were told we had wifi but it didn't stretch to our room as was the case for others. Had to go to another part of hotel to get wifi reception. However...we had 2 girls, both named... More
