Very basic rooms in a school building. The rooms in our part of the building were on a very echoey corridor. Any noise in the corridor is magnified by a million times, so the amount of sleep you get entirely depends on how considerate the other guests are. More so than in most hotels. The hotel is located on a hill above Akureyri city centre, just 5 minutes walking. it has a large parking for free and that's very good. The room was quite big, but in the little kitchen there was no cutlery, plates or glasses!!! The bathroom had no soap dispenser and they gave to us only one (too little) soap gel.... more
