This hotel is located at the top of the town of Akureyri, Iceland. It is also across the street from a geothermal hot springs aquatic pool. We had an amazing time at this hotel. It was close enough to the town that you can bar hop, and still walk back to hotel without issues. The town is very pretty during... More

A very nice, modern and new hotel. Swimming pool across the road. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and of reasonable size. Nice reception, where you can sit and use free WIFI, otherwise you need to pay for internet. Our room on 4th level had an additional door that were linking it with the room next door and we could hear... More

Stayed two nights here while searching for the Northern lights. The hotel is neat and clean and an easy walk into town to shop and eat. Wifi is free in the lobby, so don't spend your money on the room upgrade. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is really neat! Clean, nice and modern rooms. Very close to town, and easy walk. Facilities and amenities are fair for the price and location. The staff and service are also good. There are not many options here and this is probably one of the best. Stay there for one night. Highly recommended!

Just enjoyed a short stay here. The rooms were modern and clean and contained everything you need for a short trip. Free wifi in public areas and a mac for free use in reception. Enjoy your free welcome drink and free ticket to the swimming pool across the road. 5 min walk to town centre. Ample car parking. Good hearty... More

Dear Claire R Thank you for taking time for reviewing our hotel. I was very glad to read it. The ,,experience the arctic " package is really good value - with the added bonus of a free welcome drink and entrance to the local municipal pool. I just hope that you will visit us again in the future and experience... More

We stayed for one night in mid-October this year. We walked in without a reservation, which wasn't an issue at all. It was our 2nd Icelandair hotel stay during our 6-night trip to Iceland. They're just perfect in every respect. Rooms are super clean and efficiently and comfortably furnished. Staff at the reception was very helpful (we decided to drive... More

This hotel has a great modern feel with an amazing view of a mountain from the side window. The staff was helpful and there was a great daily happy hour of discounted beer and wine. It's walking distance to everything in town. We also dined in the restaurant in the basement and although everything is expensive with the US exchange... More

Spacious, comfortable and clean. My room had a excellent view of the mountains. During check-out, the cashier was kind of impatient when I told her I would like to leave my overnight bag at the luggage room. I saw her threw my bag under the cashier (like it was some sort of rubbish). And when I asked for the claim... More

When we arrived, they said that "unfortunately" the room we had booked was not available, but we actually ended up better off, because the alternative room was excellent and they made the rate much cheaper, as a compensation. This is a 5-star hotel and rooms was very stylish and comfortable. Restaurant was excellent.

Spent 3 nights here, free parking and wifi in lobby, breakfast not included. Decently priced accomidation in an expensive country. Room was large enough and modern, and location was close to "downtown". I'd absolutely stay here again.
