An old fashioned destination spa resort. Most of this very busy establishment, is filled with its target audience- the elderly & infirm. There are even nursing facilities right in the building. Two tiers of room categories; regular & mini-suites. Both really noisy, but far worse in the regular {small, basic} room. Zero soundproofing- I can even hear normal decibel conversations... More

Stayed over weekend. The hotel was overall unclean everywhere, also rooms not cleaned well at all. In the spa area smelled bad. Very expensive cafe and restaurant services and very poor quality. Beautiful nature though but far from city centre, only good thing was bus connection to the city centre. Not worthwhile money at all. Not recommending for tourists at... More

We stayed at this hotel when we went to Ruisrock Festival. Inside it looked like a hospital. There was no classiness , it wasn't modern, it just had a hospital feel. The reception staff looked very unhappy to be there and were quite rude. There was no air conditioning in the room, so it was very hot. The scenery outside... More

We paid quite a good price for a relaxing weekend at Ruissalo Spa Hotel. For that money we got: hospital looking corridors, waiters that eat the customers' french fries from the plate (when they think no-one can see), a bunch of over 60 year-old Finns covering from surgeries etc., breakfast table that is too healthy (you can buy your own... The hotel is quite old. There were not a mini bar in the room, no air-conditioning. It was warm summer day, so the room was too warm. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The surraundings are very beautiful. We paid 150 eur/night and the hotel was quite a dissapointment compered to that. I would pay max 70eur/night.

It is pleasant area with woodland around and country walks; bikes are kept to a separate path. The bus service to/from Turku is very convenient (stops directly outside the hotel) and only 20 minutes. Food is well prepared and basic menu offerings of a pizza, burgers, salads, etc. service is very good with helpful smiley staff.

This hotel is very mediocre and really not acceptable given the prices it charges. We stayed there for 2 nights over the midsummer weekend (which would admittedly be expensive anyway) but it was very expensive for what was really just a step up from a private hospital room. Two small twin beds (very far apart), a very basic bathroom, large... More

We stayed in Ruissalo Spa Hotel quickly for one night. I can't say much of the spa as we didn't have time to visit it because we arrived so late. Overall the room was nice but a bit outdated. Breakfast did the job. The terrace was excellent and it would have been great to spend more time there and in... More

I have visited Ruissalo Spa twice. It is true that it attracts the more elderly clientele but is a wonderful place for relaxation for any age and generation. There is a spacious swimming pool with jaccuzi and of course sauna. For the hardy Finn there is an exit to the lake (or is it sea inlet?) where you can plunge... More

We went for a short, two days stay to Ruissalo Spa because of a good offer. The nature around the hotel was unbelievable beautiful, even though it already was October, waiting for first cold days. I had ordered a mini-suite room, which we really liked. There was space enough, good bread beds with small night tables, good wardrobes, writing table,... More
