I don´t recall that there´s a single mention on their webpages about it that this is a official Turku´s physiotherapy rehabilitation place for the elders. Ok, I´m age racist so sue me. There is everywhere folks that look like they are about to drop dead any moment, most of them need walking aid. There´s a weird aura of being in... More

I picked this hotel because I wanted to spend some time at seafront and take some photos of the sea. This hotel is a good base for that because it is sitting at seafront and nature is all around. Really nice surroundings. It may be more crowded in the summertime because there is a camping site next to the hotel.... More

Rooms are a bit dated. And no balcony in our room . There were couple of heated pools and a sauna at that spa. We had half board, so our dinner was between 4-6 p.m. Later at 7 p.m they had gala dinner served with special price. We saw they made that serving and they didn't use table clothing at... More

I would say the avarage age of visitors was around 60, the building had been renovated but had a shabby feeling to it. The personel was nice, but I was really dissapointed about the SPA part - 2 rather cold and small pools, 1 "jacuzzi" with only 1 bubblestream and only 1 sauna, which was just 65C. I really was... This is a spa hotel aimed at older people....but, there are beaches close by, the bus service into Turku is good (frequent & long hours), there are activities to do too. so we enjoyed our stay. A little dated in places, but we thought it comfortable and well equipped, the spa area is nice and treatments are available.

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the sea and beautiful Finnish nature. The beach was a bit dirty though :/ The staff is really nice and the restaurant serves good food, they have a nice pool area and access to the gym and other sporty activities. Not a wastr of time but no big deal either. Worth... More

We booked a last minute one night stay in Ruissalo to spend a relaxing and nice weekend. But did not exactly realize, that this property was mainly for older people, who are in need of physical rehabilitation. So mainly the hotelguests were around 80 years old, and sometimes it felt like we were in the middle of an Alfred Hitchcock-movie..... More

Our older son got married last Saturady in a wonderful Villa (Villa Marjaniemi) in Ruissalo. I reserved rooms in this hotel for me and my husband + 2 cats , our younger adult son, our German friend and the lady priest who flew from our home town extra to wed this couple.( If I had known the variable quality of... I, my friend and our two kids spent there a weekend in June 2014. We were happy with the pool area, although there were no special kids pool. there were plenty of possibilities for the kids to enjoy water. We were pretty much the youngest people on the house, but that was no problem for us - grannies were just... More

An old fashioned destination spa resort. Most of this very busy establishment, is filled with its target audience- the elderly & infirm. There are even nursing facilities right in the building. Two tiers of room categories; regular & mini-suites. Both really noisy, but far worse in the regular {small, basic} room. Zero soundproofing- I can even hear normal decibel conversations... More
