Cabins are small with thair own bathroom but fully equiped. they serve good breakfast that is included... More

Stay on a boat was not the first i had in mind when i looked for a place to stay overnight. I wanted to try something new, and i was not disappointed. Recommend this quite cheap way to stay. Wi-fi was free in the common rooms. I had no wi-fi in my room. Easy to find the adress, and parking... More

I kept my 40th birthday party here and most of our guests stayed here too for a night. Their service was friendly and professional, our dinner was real tasty and cabin with separate living room was spacious and clean. For that price(under 100€, breakfast and sauna included) we were real satisfied. Smaller cabins are real cheap, so good choice for... More

The place is a bit unusual - it's a former old cruise ship converted to a hotel. The price is great, the staff is hospitable, but there's a catch - you make your own bed, there's no room service, and the room is small (the bathroom is even smaller :-)). But I'd say that none of this really matters and... More

Took a long walk of 45 minutes in the snow from Turku Train Station to this amazing docked "hotel/hostel" boat. It was worth it!! It may be in the middle of no where apart from being next to Viking Line and Silja Line Ferry Terminals - but this was my purpose! The Night Manager was lovely, warm, welcoming and friendly... More

Had to stay at Bore during the RuisRock concert, only because of my late change of plans didn't allow for any better lodging. The pricing is not anything exceptionally cheap, and with a little advance booking one could easily get a better room in the very centrum - so not much to save here. Rooms are very small with no... The only reason to stay at this hostel is for the novelty of living on a large ship named "Bore" for a few days. Almost nothing else recommends it. 1. WiFi. Yes, free WiFi exists on the ship; however, it only exists in the common room rather than, say, in one's cabin. What does not exist in the common room... More

Stayed here Tues 2nd as a cheap option whist visiting friends nearby , good location and a nice 20min walk along the river to bars near the center , place was easy to find and ample free parking, room was clean and bed was firm and comfy and the place was very quiet at night. Buffet breakfast was average (no... More

An interesting combination, the Forum Marinum and the SS Bore. The ship is actually a part of the Forum Marinum because a section of the ship is secured except for those that have tickets to the Forum Marinum. The ships spaces are in very good condition considering the age and use/occupancy. Sure, you do have to 'make your own bed'... More

There are two separate sides in this old cruiseship which has been turned into a hotel and a hostel. The city of Turku is hosting the hostel and ms Borea company the actual hotel. My review covers the hotel side. Bear in mind that this is a real cruise ship which actually has cruised between Turku and Stockholm in 1970's.... More
