Hostel Turku has a nice location with a walking distance from the city centre and close to the Aura river and its rastaurant boats. I paid 18,50e for one bed in shared 6-pers room, towel and sheets were 4,50e and breakfast 5,50e. The reason i chose this Hostel was that all hotels in Turku were fully booked. Sometimes you can stay in a hotel for only 25e/night in double room, so that's why i found this a bit pricy, since you had to make your own bed, breakfast wasn't that good and foremost you had to be back at 2am and out 10 am! No flexibility at all. I thought hostels are more easy-going and relaxed, but apparently not. I even had to go straight to bed, not able to wash my face or teeth (!), so that i wouldn't disturb the other guests! How nice was that... Suitable and recommended for low-budget travellers. Toilets, rooms and showers very clean. more
