Sokos is the local chain of hotels in Finland and they are in general nothing special but usually fairly affordable, clean but often a bit old. The Seurahuone is one of the Sokos hotels in Turku and I decided to try it due to the relatively low price (around €70 including breakfast) and its good location. It is in the... More

Our family 2+2 stayed only one night, as part of a Moomin valley package. The hotel is central, and the standard was very satisfactory with good service and a large room. Our only complaint is that the windows are very poorly protected from children, when we arrived the windows could be opened with a push and the room was on... More

Our room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was also very big (with a big bath!). We were quite happy with what we got. The location of the hotel was perfect! Right in the middle of the city but off the main bar-streets. Breakfast was average Finnish standard, enought of everything. No free parking. =( More

The hotel would need a renovation. Our room (superior single room, suitable also for 2 persons) was spacious, but the bed was too soft. The biggest problem was that there was no air-conditioning and the windows could not be opened because of the noise from the street. The breakfast was very basic, nothing special. We left after one night although... More

I stayed at the Sokos Hotel Seurahuone for one night. Booked the room via the Sokos Hotels' website, and got a price of 65 euros (including breakfast). As others have pointed out, the hotel is located in the city centre, and is within walking distance from the train station. The hotel could benefit from a slight renovation, but is not... More

A comfortable hotel, even though the decor was a bit old and the bathroom was not that great even though it was clean. The street outside was a bit noisy during the weekend nights. Breakfast was good. More

We stayed here in June 2010. We were staying at the Omena Hotel with my boyfriend for a night and decided to change as we noticed through their website, that the "high season" price was almost the same (Omenahotel doesn't have a parking, and parking in the streets and car parks is expensive). Also we wanted to have a room... More

We stayed one night with our daughter, room OK, clean, but seen it's best days, TV was old, bath room clean but a bit worn out. Room was a good size and there was plenty of space for extra bed. The problem was that we had a room facing the main street and windows in this building are quite thin,... More

I stayed here for a few days in May for a business trip. The rooms are small (although bigger than some rooms I've stayed in in Europe), but clean and full of light. My room was next to the stairwell and I was a little worried about noise, but it was absolutely quiet the entire time. There is free wifi... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night at the end of January. I booked a "standard single non-smoking room" through the Sokos Hotels website as they had the cheapest price of 70 Euros a night. It was a last minute booking so it might be possible to get a room for less. The hotel is situated about 15 minutes... More
