This is a cheap and budget hotel. I paid around GBP50 per night for 5 nights there, which was considered reasonably cheap when compared to average accommondation prices in Finland. The hotel has no receiptionist, but does have a free phone on the entrance to call 24-hr receiptionists if you have any issues with your stay. I arrived with no... More

Omena hotel is like Ryanair in hotels. You pay just for what you get and there are no extras. The room I had was surprisingly big and would be ok even for a family traveling with one or two kids. The bathroom, however, was tiny and pretty shabby. The room was clean but there was some wear and tear visible.... More

I felt this was somewhat better one of the two Omena hotels in the same street. Went there to have a little party on saturday and there were other guests to do the same thing, but didn't hear much noise from other rooms so no worries if you just want to sleep. Omena hotels are offering the price and the... More

Booking a room was easy. Got the code for the room on sms, everything worked out fine. Location and the the price really good. Very spacious room, there was three of us staying a night. Appreciated the fridge and the coffee! There is only one but... The room was not clean. First thing we saw when we stepped it the... More

I was in Finland in Tampere a few days and this was an awesome choice. Booked on line, keycode provided by email for downstairs door and room door. It was clean, small but enough space for a desk, hanging area bathroom was clean and good, shower great and bed amazing. Only down side is because no staff I don't feel... More

I really like Omena hotel concept, there is really no need for a reception at a budget hotel. Room was spacious enough and has even a electronic kettle + coffee and tea. As other reviewers have complained, yes, the corridors are not nice. But who spends there anyway. Very convenient location to Pakkahuone (concerts) and railway station. Some excellent dining... More

Hotel is cheap and easy to book via internet. And these are only positive things I have to say. The entrance and corridors were filthy. It was quite scary to use the entrance because there were all the time some black dressed youngsters drinking and smoking. Room was clean but uncomfortable furnished. I can recommend this so-called hotel only for... More

We were two nights here with my wife and the sleepingexperience was ok, rest of it not. My wife said this was the first and last time at Omena hotels, but I could stay there on business trips if every other place is fully booked. The room was red and small and the hotel was quite full booked. There was... More

Omena hotels chain provide a concept of affordable rooms you can buy only online and no traditional services are provided, but you not paying any extra for large lobby room with a lot of staff. You book and pay on web, get PIN code and access to your room. Breakfast is arranged in the next door restaurant, in case you... More

Booked this room since it was the cheapest option in Tampere that time. No reception because this is self service hotel. Late check in (16.00). Basic room, one double bed and twin bed if needed. Possible to make coffee and tea. Quite and quite clean. Nice location.
