I stayed here for three nights on my last stop of my months holiday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast offered a great spread for all tastes. The hotel is located close to the railway and bus stations and room was modern, clean and tidy. My room also faced a courtyard and this allowed for a... More

The location near Komediateatteri was perfect but the hotel was quite retro and scruffy. A minibar was empty. The hotel restaurant was average (we had a lunch there) but the breakfast was really restricted. No big disappointments (or maybe the breakfast was a disappointment...) but either nothing special to meet our expectations. I'd say that Pinja was a little bit... More

Worst hotel I have ever been in. There was (yes, really!) some human waste marks in toilet walls. Rude receptionist claimed that the room is clean and refused to do anything else. I went to another hotel. Huoneen vessan seinissä ihmispaskatahroja. Respa kieltäytyy huoneen vaihtamisesta tai siivouksen järjestämisestä. Ei koskaaan mihinkään Cumulukseen.

Sorry to be negative but this I´d like to share. Cumulus Pinja welcomes you with a strange smell in the room. Like there was a person that hash´t washed himself in ages. The room was very small. Hotel garage is very small and I even got a scratch in my car during the stay. Not too much to brag about.... More

We stayed two nights in December 2012 during our leisure trip to Tampere. The hotel is located in an old rambling house. The hotel is advertised to be Art Nouveau style. Maybe, maybe. Some furniture are maybe ArtNouveau style, but in any case the advertising is overkilling. Again, you can see the Hotel operator, the Restel-group, using their strategy to... More

The superior room is a joke. Greasy (strong) smell, dirty floors, dust everywhere, dated (partly broken) furniture, fungus in the empty minibar, blood on the balcony door. We payed for the 5th floor Superior room with balcony and we couldn't enjoy it at all. This is a cute Art Nouveau building raped into a cheap motel. Totally tasteless. Only ok,... More

I booked Cumulus Pinja after reading a few reviews online. I felt like going to another hotel - nothing to do with the "art noveau" mentioned about the hotel. It is a fake - you don't see too many art noveau objects / furniture / architecture around there. There is some wallpaper and small details you can find. That's all... More

Very good and friendly service. Rooms not new but in good condition. Good location: close to Railway station (about 10 min on foot) and main places of interest. Checkin begins with 14.00, but came to the hotel around 12 we got the keys. There is possibility to leave luggage in the hotel after checkout. Most of the rooms with twin... More

Location is good, walking distance to town centre. We were there for a friend's wedding at the cathedral right next door so this was the best hotel for that occasion. The reception was friendly with good English spoken and breakfast was great with a selection of hot food etc. It was good value and the room was very clean and... More

In March we stayed in this hotel for one night as we found a good deal (60e/room/night). For that price my expectations weren't high and I would say that the room was OK. It had what we needed (bed, toilet+shower, tv). The beds in our room were two separate ones and we moved those together and found out that the... More
