If you want to visit Namibia but you cannot afford it, go to Yyteri and choose this hotel. It is located on a beach with beautiful sandy dunes. The beach is easily one of the best in Finland. The purpose of my trip was to spend some time close to the sea and take some photos. That's why I chose... More

The taxi driver on the way here from downtown Pori (25 mins) led us to believe that this place was stuck in the 70s whereas in fact it's been renovated. Unusually appealing architecture, wonderful location, acres of wooden floors. Food best avoided.

The location of this hotel could not be better if you love sunbathing and nature: it is just next to the famous Yyteri beach. I stayed in a newly renovated room in 3rd floor. Unfortunately there was no seaview and the hotel rooms don't have balconies either, otherwise the room would have been perfect. Bed was comfortable and sleep-quality good.... More

There are no recent reviews, so I'll tell a little of my experience from the summer 2014. Yyteri Hotel & Spa is situated in a fantastic location next to the sea with wonderful sand dunes and the owners of the hotel are sure to make every effort to maintain and improve customers' conditions and to meet their expectations. The building... More

This traditional hotel is located next to one of the most famous beach in Finland. Hotel is in good shape now. It's newly renovated, clean and comfort. Staff was friedly and helpful. There is good spa and beach facilities. Restaurant has tasty food and choices to everyone. I organized two days business meeting there. Everything was better than I was... More

The hotel doesn´t look very tempting outside, but the 70´s decor in the lobby and in the restaurant was actually quite nice. Our expectations were not very high, so the hotel was more than we expected. We enquired the renovated room (and got one), which was quite ok and the bathroom was also nice. Air con would have been great... More

Stayed three nights with kids & grandparents. Hotel is outside Pori, just 200 m from sand dunes. I liked the place: - family room was spacious, including well-designed bathroom - spa section was small but just perfect for our kids (1 and 4 yo) - kids playroom was large, with plenty of toys - restaurant food was good (esp a... The hotel truly had some 70's charm with a renovated feel. +The surroundings were amazing. The beach was right there and the lovely dunes with the white sands was something we thought we could not see in Finland. +the spa was small but nice and the outdoor pool area was a nice touch +our room was apparently one of the... Thank you for your review. The nature here in Yyteri really is amazing. We don't try to be what you expect of for example German or Austrian spa (there is actually a conflict when you use the term spa since people all over the world have different expectations, but spa is the only word we have). As for the "extra"... More

Stayed one night with wife and two kids. Our expectations were high but must say that we were disappointed very much. The whole hotel should be renovated from floor to roof. The 80's atmosphere was in the rooms, breakfast room and in the "spa". Our rooms was a little bit dirty and smelled weird but there was enough space for... More

The hotel was built in 1974 and as you can see it represents the architecture of that time. The hotel is old but we also want to maintain the 1970's atmosphere in the hotel since we want to do things a little bit differently than everyone else. We are a family-owned hotel and as you can imagine we cannot renovate... More

Oh dear. This place is made of tin. Clad in it at least - one enormous heat-sink, and on a hot summer's day in Finland that is a lot of heat to sink. The rooms have non-opening main windows and tiny, opening side-windows which are meshed against the vast biting bugs that frequent the area. And there's no air con.... More

We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy staying with us. I apologize if our staff has not served you well. We are a family-owned hotel and we are renovating the property one step at a time. However, at this point we don't install air conditioning, since in Finland we need it for few weeks in a year and... More
