Radisson Blu Seaside is not the worst place to stay in. It is quite centrally located, but still there are lots of hotels in Helsinki which are situated closer to centre, sightseings and shopping areas. Found this hotel ideal for all our needs. Only 10 min walk from city centre, freindly staff and a great breakfast. Maybe not the best hotel for a romantic break but as a central base you can't go wrong. Rooms a bit small. Nice view over the docks/harbour more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. its about a 20min walk to city center but perfectly located if you plan on catching a ferry to Tallin (it is only a 10min walk to the ferry terminal). The room had a nice view to the sea, however it was smaller than I expected from other Radisson hotels. The climate in the room at night was not optimal. The rooms was not cleaned very well, in the shower I found several hairs of previous customers. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with many choices, and good and fresh. more

One of the worst places ive stayed in. Seaside is a stretch...it's by the dock and there's lots of construction going on. (the hotel does apologise for this though). The hotel is very very tired.
