“Upmarket, part-time hostel, quiet and very clean”

For those who like to walk, its only an easy 20 mins walk to main city attractions in centre or harbour area. I believe its university accomodation rented out in summer. Everything, rooms to communal kitchen and hallways are unusually clean considering its student digs most of year. You pay extra to use internet terminals.

You do not have to share bathrooms which is always a plus for hostels.

For what it is i'd say it was expensive but then Helsinki is expensive anyway. Probably cheaper than a city centre hotel and for backpackers a good place to meet others. more

We stayed here for 1 night at the end of June, Its not bad, has internet, TV room, room has fridge, oven, hot plates. The room is really good actually. Is a student house turned into a hostel in summer. Its near a city beach but i never went there as it was a litle cold. The only let down for this place is its at good 25 mins walk back to the main market, sea front area.
And its expensive!! but so is all of finland.
